I'd guess its because he wins against the bad players

Pretty sure he plays elimination because the overall skill level is generally lower in that game mode than duels. Which allows him to get away with playing more casually/recklessly while still appearing very skilled. It also allows anti ganks to be performed easier because the opponents are playing into his revenge waaaay more than they would in dominion. Plus the insane buffs. Count how many times with Kyoshin he will just do a light into down stance light and watch how many times it works. He also isn't afraid to farm the same lobby even if he's a much better player than his opponents.

I've always found them quite fast since cross play

We've probably won equal amount, the videos are all there from both sides, just search Havok vs NovaKing, theres plenty, no egos, just good games on both ends that go either way. Strange, saw a similar comment before, sad to see offence taken to this vid tho, haven't said anything negative towards Nova, he's a friend and I'm just poking fun at the state of Elimination more than anything.

Lots of low MMR players are found in Elimination, and it is super easy to farm clips in bot lobbies. Coincidentally, lately it is basically the only game mode Novaking plays, with very much bot lobbies.

When u get a decent lobby I guess it's ok cos it's just constant action, bit of 1v1s and potential team fights mixed in
