Not really a Pixar fan, but I'm happy for those who are. I do hope Pixar (or Disney) makes another superhero film, though!

Regarding the whole parent being potentially dead thing- I would LOVE for a movie about two parents being alive but sepperated. Maybe throughout the course of the film, the parents initially hate each other but are forced to work together to save their son and eventually becomes friends. My parents absolutely loathe oneanother and I really think seeing this different take on the cliche could be very hopeful and encouraging.

To me, a new Pixar film is good to me, even if it won’t always be the highest quality, so I am looking forward to Elio!

Even when Pixar misses it’s like Christopher Nolan. You can always appreciate how weird they get with it or how they want to be creative with it. And maybe this will be Pixar’s come back even though they were never bad but have gotten weaker

I kind of just assumed the kid had a lazy eye that was being corrected. It’s not the first time we’ve seen something like this from Pixar, after all, in Onward, the older brother had a cast on his arm.

I’m excited! This could be a return for Pixar

I wasn’t interested in the movie at all until the very end, where Ellio is talking to the alien who seemed to be the bad guy and surprised me in that he seems to be an ally or at least not a villain. Yeah, he might be a bit psychotic, but he seems to be actually get along with the human. You might not get it, but this both surprised me and gives me hope that the story won’t be the stereotypical space adventure.

I will see Elemental in theaters to guess if I will like it or not. However, I'm excited for Elio and also March, whose 2024 will be fully with animated movies (Elio, Kung Fu Panda 4 and Beyond the Spiderverse) like June 2023, is my month birthday.

Seeing as he has an eyepatch, I keep wondering if Elio is blind in one eye. Maybe I'm looking too much into it but it would be nice to see

I think one of the main differences between this film and Elemental is the sense that we don’t know where the story will go just yet. Elemental just feels like the typical Romeo and Juliet star crossed lovers plot line that will follow the familiar plot points and they haven’t really given a reason to feel that it will be different, leaning on the gimmick of the characters being one of four elements… when the world doesn’t even support this as much as it could, considering they have the joke about fences being pointless, but people still putting up fences… which is a hole in their own world building unless they subtlety imply some weird implication later on… whether it be that fences are specifically targeting earth elementals which… is a disturbing thought, or it’s a remnant of a previous society of a non elemental race which is absolutely absurd to think that it would still be standing to this day… Elemental feels like a gimmick film and doesn’t hold up under the weight of the world building it’s set up ever so shakily, while Elio is still mysterious and holds the potential the first elemental trailer did not inspire and the trailers after that didn’t remedy.

IDK how you've not done it yet since it has been so long since it came out but could you please review arcane I think is an extremally good show so I would like to see if you can find any flaws with or just talk about how amazing it is if you have already reviewed it I could not find it.

My guess and probably the most likely is that the aliens found Earth via one of the Voyager spacecrafts. It shows the golden record for a few seconds.

My biggest question is how many eyes does Elio have I guess one good one but I guess I’ll have to wait for more information

I dont know if it’s just me but this trailer looks horrible, I’m actually incredibly concerned for this movie

I hope it's good. I don't wish any movie to be terrible. But there is a couple of things that worry me: - The ''joke'' about eating your own mother. Jokes about dying, in general, is a cliche that a lot of Disney and Pixar movies use as of late. It is practically never funny and I can't get invested when characters are fighting for their lives because the movie already established how no one takes their and other people's lives seriously. - The designs of the aliens are just so boring. These are aliens that are supposed to look cute, majestic, and terrifying but I don't feel any of it. They all look like slime/rubber/plastic that is used in those antistress toys or ''satisfying videos''. Sharp angles exist! - Also, most of the background aliens look like simple shapes or amebas. Where is the creativity with aliens like from Ben 10 or the star wars original and prequel trilogy (sequels didn't have any memorable aliens)? I expect it to be rather mediocre. I can't wait for the second act lie exposition and break up.

Where have you been? Pixar has lost 100 million plus on every movie starting with onward. That’s not including strange world which also lost more than 100 mil. Elemental is set to be the absolute worst Pixar opening since the good dinosaur. They’re imploding and Disney is running out of money. Comcast will make Disney pay them 9 billion at a minimum for Hulu, but will likely get north of 15 billion, which Disney will have to borrow. Unfortunately they already have 48 billion in debt, with park revenues crashing in Florida. It’s a mess. This and wish will both bomb. I’m willing to bet Bob will kill these movies and take the tax write off. Indiana Jones alone is going to be a disaster. They need to make over 700 million to turn a profit on it.

I am not excited for this movie because everything about this story feels unorginal maybe i'm too old for this story that is supposed to be for kids but i dont know i am not excited i dont like another family and kids in elementary school trauma and nothing really catch my eye here. Just a bunch of copied character designs from another movies and strange but predictable plot.

I gave up Disney YEARS AGO...which makes me sad because I was a real FAN of Star Wars and other series like X men and Pixar and all the COMPANIES that Disney has RUINED. They may think that Explosions are great...but MEN AND WOMEN KISSING their same sex IS THEIR BUSINESS and I don't care if it turns me off. What THEY do is their business...nut DON'T FORCE IT DOWN MY THROAT! All the Woke stuff is simply a turnoff. Just like ANY GRAPHIC BLOOD AND SEX. It is my money and NOW IT IS NOT GOING TO BE THEIR MONEY.
