You can definitely sell without having a website. Designing the highlights as a navigation meny is very helpful in this regard! 😉

@@EliseDarma i don't really like the solution with Canva website. It's too simple and not so good-looking at least to me. I do really like treating highlights like sections on a website (never thought in this way). Do you know if it's possible to "order" the highlights with your preference? For example I set an order like A, B, C...and then I update C and the order changes so my highlights are now C, A, B...which is not the best way to keep consistency. Do you see my point?

There are other ways to still be successful with selling on Stories without showing your face constantly, but it greatly increases your like, know, and trust factor!

I also wonder if you have a video about how to setup the whole ecosystem of the Instagram shop: the instagram shop itself for which you have great content, but also the sales process and how it goes, the best and easiest platform for getting paid (In Europe and rest of the world, PayPal, Telegram, etc.), and for shipping. At the end, the legal stuff and rules. Thank you.

the problem with stories is that you have to watch EACH ONE... in order..and no one has time for that so keep your postings short n sweet..like a flash ad! great post tho to highlight your special products but you cant purchase directly or add a download!

Your stories are converted to highlights, after you post to your story the 3 dots upper right hand corner so give you an option to make a highlight of your post. Post to your story and try it

Hey M Kh, so you have 2 options, you can ask them to DM you, pointing the arrow down (when you are creating the story, you can't see the reply bar, but it'll be there after you post it). Example: I have lets say 10 pieces of silver necklaces with turquoise that are of course different in terms of patterns but more or less on the same price level. Hi, I just saw your clip, thinking it might solve my problem. But it doesn't. Maybe you have an idea? We are a product driven company and sell those products on marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Walmart and Facebook/Instagram. FB/IG just cut us off from the shopping function because we don't have a web shop on our website. We use marketplaces on purpose because of the sales tax. We don't want to register in 30 different states. Marketplaces handle the sales tax for us. Is there a way around this new policy? I am really curious if this new policy caused friction with a lot of sellers. I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Sonja

So glad you found it helpful! Yes you can! Some people will choose to sell locally, while others will get into shipping, but you could always start local and branch out.

You need to connect your instagram with your facebook page and then create a catalog inside your facebook business page.
