Finally found an explanation how to properly boost - that was just amazing! Now overshooting and loosing the dominant position will finally be less common. Thank you!

Boost bleeding is so important and I myself have yet to improve it even after all those years. I remember the way L'in was flying against my bomber. So far I have not encountered anyone better in that particular skill. Happy to take advice from this video :)

"No matter how evasive you are, if you can't pack a punch you won't be helping your team on any fight" - So true, that is precisely what I discovered yesterday during my first ever wingfight: managed to be the last ship standing in my team every time, but yet had no impact on the fight whatsoever as I was lost avoiding shots/deciding where/who to shoot 😶‍🌫I'm usually very accurate but there I was incapable of landing shots. The most difficult thing for a newcomer is that you don't shoot at someone who's passing/coming your way, you have to shoot at ships that are going away from you and that is totally different from a duel as you need to think in "3D" while a duel is basically 2D, on a plane.

Great series. I would love lengthy advice on evasion in a future eposode. An example: I find hard to follow a target and aim my weapons simultaniously, but that can get better with training. However, I am clueless when there is a second enemy. I just get destroyed really fast when that happens because I don't know how to combine dodging with damage dealing, or how to dodge at all. (FAoff, trichording and stuff is not an issue. I just don't know how to position myself I guess)

I never knew about boosting while in full reverse. I honestly believe this is the skill I've been missing this entire time as I fly on console, and I have never gotten the hang of boosting in FAO since it sends me 4-6km away from the target. So, I end up jousting the entire time, and it's incredibly frustrating.

Stick is really required for FA off, it's possible with mouse and keyboard but a bit irritating, plus the same setup is bothersome in FSD flight. Actually controlling the input with stick is a lot better and satisfying than tapping buttons.

I would focus more on trying to make pa shots and not getting hit. A good majority of those passes either you both hit each other or he hit you and you didn’t hit him. You have to try to dodge his shot while making yours.

Hi, you might not be active anymore but i had a question. What macro system do you use for your pip management? Im finding it toublesome to shift pips at the rate needed for most pvp engagement and was looking for advice

What controller/platform are you using? I’m PS4 and the little analogue controllers are super tricky for FA off

this video too nerdy for me, aside from that really nice pip management all i see is regular flying. Like the whole boost bleeding thing. That needs a term? just fly regularly and you should be doing it.
