Stephanie Yu-Falkenstein I did not notice any lube ports on the motor nor did I see it mentioned in the manual whice I found in the files on the FB group Vintage Elnas. Sorry for the delay in responding.

Thanks for your request Carol. Let's see what happens. I do have the machine with me I'm away from home during the lockdown and that's a good thing as I'm with family. If phone has enough memory and the creek don't rise I get one finished. A little warning: I just broke the piece of plastic that holds the pin for the spool of thread. Not sure how it happened. The plastics on this machine are a bit sensitive . Take care.

Julie, thanks for watching. Here's how I went about it. Take off side piece w/out the crank. Have a container like a muffin tin or old egg carton to group the screws as you remove them. Save a lot of time later. Then remove the trey holding all the goodies up top. Take your time. All the screws are visible. Yahoo. Now turn the hand wheel and watch. Turn some more and watch. Anyplace there is a joint like a knee or elbow you put one or two drops of oil. Must be sewing machine oil or Triflow. Flip the machine so you can remove the bottom and repeat. You should place the machine on cardboard or newspaper. A towel will keep screws from rolling away of they escape. I think I found the manual for this one on manualslib.com. I'm not sure if that's the right address so look up free manuals and the address will come up. Good luvk
