There is a big difference between being alone and being lonely. You can be alone and be completely happy enjoying your time to yourself. On the other hand, you can be completely surrounded by a lot of people, thousands of friends and followers on social media, social events, parties, etc., and still feel alone.

Most people can’t handle solitude because they can’t handle themselves and it’s honestly a weakness if you are not able to be alone. Friends , family etc is all great but not being able to enjoy being alone is unearthly.

And yet so many on Earth go through it. I agree though, learning how to be alone and enjoy it took me some time and sometimes I still struggle with it. When I'm around a bunch of annoying ppl, I need to be alone, but when the ppl are great, it's easy to want to be around them a lot. As long as there are healthy boundaries. Humans are mammals and we're social creatures, but sometimes ( especially when those ppl are emotionally, mentally spiritually toxic or physically abusive, then get out a.s.a.p! ), not worth how they can wreck your life!

If I call you a jerk or I insult you respectfully with a normal kind tonality you don’t feel insulted but when I aggressively do the same you‘ll feel it. I always loved meeting people and I grew up as a triplet , there were always people around me and I have absolutely no problem with strangers at all , honestly most of the time I spent with others I felt more alone than I do than when I am actually alone and only due to the fact than many people are here but not present and communication is by far the most important attribute. Everything is built on communication with others might be verbal or non verbal or physical. Being alone is nothing a human can fear , feeling alone maybe but what does he fear when he’s alone ? There are only parts someone neglect or denies and when being alone he has to face these …… that’s why most struggle with aloneness. It’s not really enjoying being alone it’s rather feeling good without anyone else which appears to be „alone“ but why wouldn’t you enjoy time on your own ? Sounds maybe arrogant but most people don’t enrich me at all because it’s all so superficial and I mean if you can’t feel good by your own how valuable are the connections you have with others , this sounds more like an addiction than a healthy dynamic. I don’t say dying alone without every interacting with anyone but you‘ll get my point 😂

We are both life path 7. Sevens tend to be alone not because we hate people but there are so much informations and data running through our minds. We don't necessarily feel lonely. We are usually misunderstood by people around us. We are not a good teamplayer not because we are bad but because our mind works well when we are alone. We are analytical. We analyze everything. For us, knowledge is infinite and we dig deeper and deeper and sometimes make our thoughts scattered. We investigate things a lot. From news today, to issues at home etc. We have a very complicated mind that we always have trouble sleeping because our mind is restless. Meditation is vital for us and time alone helps keeps us sane. So if you have a family or partner that is 7 and wants to be alone, give them space.

@@CastleHassall read again. We don't hate people, we just choose to be alone and people often misunderstood us. We feel like being drained of our energy if we socialize a lot. We can't think straight. Hence, a lot of us don't really excel working in a team environment rather we have success on doing things our way or on our own. Like being self-employed or teaching. Sure we have skills to adapt in a working environment, but it won't make us happy, be bored to death and even depressing. I myself worked as an administrator for multiple companies. People and repetitive routines drained me. I just don't fit in those and people find it weird.

Probably bcz famous ppl have a tendency to attract shallow people who crave fame, and are fair weather friends ect. ( Ever see The Fifth Element and Ruby Rod's entourage? They agree with him all the time bcz they don't wish to displease him ( even if they are thinking something else ), If the fame or wealth disappeared, wonder how many of his followers would disappear. A real friend is there through the bad times as well as the good. Are we green? Supergreen!

Not sure he followed his own advice. The dude started a business when he was a teenager, sold it in his early, mid twenties? He didn't do it by knowing a little about a lot of topics. Rather, he was very good at something specific, which gave his the financial freedom to explore whatever he wanted next. And yet, he stayed on tech. He didn't become a psychologist or a physician or a teacher. Coincidentally, he stayed in a similar domain. The fact that he likes to learn about a lot of things is a nice thing to have, it's definitely not the reason for his success. It's actually bad advice. You don't learn what you like by reading a lot. You do something, get good at it, and come to like it better, or not.
