I don't blame Priscilla for leaving him either. I think she really loved him but, just couldn't live with him when he was on drugs. She's not qualified to help him with his addiction if he didn't admit it himself. I'm sure it was hard for her to leave him but, she did want she needed to do. He wasn't giving her want she needed as a grown woman. It's their marriage not ours.

Wonderful Human man? I think not!! I’m sorry but Priscilla was a child when they met!! Regardless if he waited to get married it was wrong and he knew he shouldn’t be attracted to a child that’s why he waited to marry her! A wonderful human man is one who respects children as children not a man who gets off on a child!! If that was your 14 year old daughter and you had a 26 year old man sniffing around your house I’m sure you’d think differently, just because he could sing and dance doesn’t make his attraction to children ok!! It’s still child abuse no matter who you are!! Yes I’m sure he loved her but so does every person who molest children that’s their way of making themselves think it’s ok to abuse children!! Well I was attracted to that child I touched her/him but it’s no big deal because I was turned on by them!! Still sick no matter who you are!!

@@maxineneild7352 I don't agree. She invested so much of her young years, even putting Elvis before her parents wishes. Then she got what she wanted. But after that she spent alot of time without Elvis. Not what she thought would happen. Also we all read after she had Lisa Marie somehow to him she was more of a mother figure to him & lost interest in her. She had to eventually find herself & her way. Elvis was living his life the way he wanted. Elvis knew she was right about that. That's why he stood by her all his life still. And she stood by him still all his life. In a dream world, I wish she would of dropped everything & went back to Elvis. Maybe he would of got help. I think he really knew he didn't have that long how he was going & wanted to be with his family & die a happy man. But maybe that wasn't fair to Lisa Marie or Priscilla & Priscilla & Elvis knew that down deep inside that's why that wasn't going to happen. Just my opinion.

Their relationship is an enigma to me, the Colonel and her father forced him to marry her, yet he had brought her up to be his wife! He didn't like being married and cheated on her, but was devastated when she left and never recovered. The key to understanding is tied up in what he used to say about; "the image is one thing but the human being another." I think he did love her but got lost in which part of his persona was which, image or person.

That’s a good point! He had other other gf’s but he never married again. I think he only ever really loved Priscilla. Notice, she has never remarried either, I believe they were soulmates. If he had of survived she MAY have gone back to him conditionally that he got rid of ALL the drugs and other women, and just judging by these last few scenes he MAY have done that. How sad that we will never know.

This to me is the saddest part in the movie. They have so much chemistry they should have played in more movies together. Loved they still cared about one another and wanted to make sure the boys could see them. When je is in the limo crying so sad when the guy says i really care about you e. So sad. He must had seen her after his final concert and then it shows her in the limo going to his funeral and she had to tell Lisa that would be the hardest thing. Love the song at the end but they cut off the ending. Love the movie. Dale was gorgeous 😍

The scene of him crying in the car is just heartbreaking. I think this is exactly what happened between them. She finally got tired of the cheating, and when he realized he really loved her and needed her and his daughter it was already too late. I've been a lifelong Elvis fan, and I truly believe this woman was the love of his life. It's very possible to die from heartbreak, and I think that's what happened here. The drugs and the not so good eating lifestyle Elvis carried through the years, didn't help. But heartbreak was definitely one of the reasons for his heart attack. God bless his soul. And Priscilla's, this is only a piece of what we know she went through. Being a rockstar's wife cannot be easy. but they loved each other till the end, she turned Graceland into a worldwide memorial and tourist attraction, to share her memories with Elvis with the world. This woman has carried his legacy on her back for so many years, she deserves respect. that's probably why she was the only one he ever married, he knew what kind of woman she was. She is certainly not perfect, and made her mistakes during the marriage as well, but I think anyone in her shoes would have probably gotten fed up as well. She put up with ALOT! And even then, they divorced but she was always there for him , never bad mouthed him , even after his death. Even til this day, she will occasionally post photos of them, on their anniversaries, or birthdays. She never remarried, neither did he, so i think its safe to say those 2 were soulmates, and will meet again in the afterlife. I have no doubts, that Elvis will be waiting for her at the gates of heaven.

A jde jí o peníze i nyní. Nikdo , by takový obrovský tlak a psychické vypětí nevydržel! 😢

I cried too, imagining Elvis crying.😖 In fact, Elvis loved all the women who came into his life, and he never refused to leave them or break their hearts, but they chose to leave, and most of them try to say that Elvis loved them more than another! Elvis as he says in his recorded conversation with Red West, he did not intend to marry Priscilla or any other woman, I think his first and last love was his only mother.😔💔

My Dad was a big fan of Elvis. He actually met him at a show in Las Vegas. Strangely enough, he resembled Elvis. My parents looked like Elvis and Priscilla when they married in 1977. My Dad even got a gold horseshoe ring like the one Elvis had. Sadly, my Dad died of cancer. I played him Elvis CD's in his room before he passed away. I'll always think of my Dad when I hear or see anything Elvis. Dad thought that had Priscilla stayed with him, he may not have died. I feel for Priscilla. I've dated musicians and actors. Anyone who lives in the spotlight is hard to live with, especially when they're popping pills like candy. It's a dangerous situation. The Elvis and Priscilla story is so sad. I know they still loved each other even after the divorce. I think they did a great job with this film. RIP Elvis Presley.

Elvis was very loyal too, and I believe he felt indebted to Parker. He kept E's career going when he went into the Army, when he could've moved on to another artist. Parker wouldn't let Elvis sing duets or other artist's songs unless they gave up publishing rights, and basically a huge chunk of income (there is a video on KZfaq of Dolly Parton talking about this, because Elvis wanted to sing "I Will Always Love You"). If Elvis could've done these collabs, and would've been in A Star Is Born, I think he would've been happier and more fulfilled. He might've even made it several more years, being happier and all. Sad to think what else he would've contributed to us.

This movie is the other side to the "Elvis" coin.... she put up day in and day out dealing with so very much. We see her love for him even now she shows her love. Yes she did what she did but a scorn woman that gave her life to him , her emotions of a wounded woman she just needed to be loved and cared for .... She's a human being not a divine being. All she wanted what all women want to have a faithful husband although those women don't care for Elvis the man all they wanted was the "image" she was there through thick and thin of the relationship. We applaud 👏👏👏👏👏her for taking care of Business alright ‼️ We can't blame her she took so much suffering from him , He was a big spoiled man.
