Those clubs, I can only imagine the fun they were, I had been in a few with my parents when I was young, Can you imagine though being there and a kid named Elvis hits the stage :)

Congratulations on 100. This one was my favorite. This may show that when Elvis recorded My Happiness, it wasn’t a birthday present for his mom, but his desire to be discovered.

He definitely didn’t record it for his mom.. he wanted to be a singer.. his mom never saw the record.. the record ended up with one of his high school friends

Graduations Trey on your 100 episodes. I’ve read a lot about Elvis through the years. I have always thought that Elvis first pursuit towards his career was walking into sun records singing (my happiness ). Man , I love learning new things this is a diamond in the rough. All the way back to Elvis’s Way of dressing back in high school ; you can see how his destiny was beginning to manefest . Now we know Elvis was pushing his career even earlier , fresh out of high school . Great find. Keep doing what you’re doing.Proud of u !! Another piece of the Elvis puzzle !! A “great philosopher” Once said !!

They certainly went to town on it It’s good Ronald has such great memories and it’s on film now but it makes me think more of what different times they really were. Better times maybe? Simpler? Congratulations on your 100th Trey! Here's to 100 and beyond to come! It's amazing how you are able to find people that nobody knows about! I did know that Elvis spent his almost 2yrs on the road before cutting his first record. He wasn't an overnight success. He played every dive and club and man's very little money driving from one town to another trying to get his name out there! He got to be well known in the south, but it wasn't until Parker got involved that he got national attention on TV shows etc. Parker did a good job as far as that and keeping Elvis name out there while he was in the service. But after that, well we all know the mismanagement of Elvis because of Parker's greed! I don't believe Elvis would've turned to substance abuse if he had a different manager when he came out of the service and had someone to stand up for him! Even with the family history of the medical, I believe without the drugs he could've lived at least to Vernons age! He wouldve had better songs and better movies and more creative control and toured Europe like he Always wanted to do! Can't comment about his relationships, because we know after his mom died and even before he was very fickle in that department! LOL

This was so special. How much older was Elvis than Mr. Smith and how did he know Elvis? Amazing that Lansky's thought they woul steal. It seems like the Lanskys never mention this encounter. Is Marianne Cocke still able to be interviewed? She seems to tell the same stories. I wish she could tell us what she and Elvis discussed such as did Elvis think he was going to die and his medical issues and the meds he took for them. Did Elvis tell her about when he started out and his relationship with Parker and why Parker got 50 percent. Did Elvis have a worse memory because of that tub incident? Tish might know the answers to some of these questions. So many lies about Elvis exist and fans just want clarifications. Mrs. Cocke and Tish Henning can answer most of these questions and more. So many people write books who did not know Elvis at all. What about interviewing Jeanne Lemay? What about Dean Nichopolous? Would he interview? Iove your Channel ,Trey. I recommend it and the Spa Guy's all the time. Comgrats on 100 episodes. Keep them coming. You are such a nice guy.
