Listen to Elvis Presley: ElvisPresley.lnk.to/listenYD
Hot off the success of his return to touring across America, Elvis Presley lit up the pop charts in 1972 with “Burning Love”, his 40th and final Top 10 hit.
About Aloha From Hawaii:
Elvis Presley made television and entertainment history with his Elvis, Aloha from Hawaii concert, performed at the Honolulu International Center Arena on January 14, 1973. It was beamed live via Globecam Satellite to various countries, on a delayed basis to approximately thirty European countries and it first aired in America that April 4th on NBC in edited form. The American broadcast version included four "insert" songs that were shot just after the concert. In all, the concert was seen in over forty countries by close to 1.5 billion people, a global ratings smash. Never before had one performer held the world's attention in such a way. Aloha from Hawaii presents Elvis Presley at the pinnacle of his superstardom, giving one of the most outstanding concert performances of his career.

Lyrics:
Lord Almighty,
I feel my temperature rising
Higher higher
It's burning through to my soul
Girl, girl, girl
You gonna set me on fire
My brain is flaming
I don't know which way to go
Your kisses lift me higher
Like the sweet song of a choir
You light my morning sky
With burning love
Ooh, ooh, ooh,
I feel my temperature rising
Help me, I'm flaming
I must be a hundred and nine
Burning, burning, burning
And nothing can cool me
I just might turn into smoke
But I feel fine
'Cause your kisses lift me higher
Like a sweet song of a choir
And you light my morning sky
With burning love
It's coming closer
The flames are reaching my body
Please won't you help me
I feel like I'm slipping away
It's hard to breath
And my chest is a-heaving
Lord have mercy,
I'm burning a hole where I lay
'Cause your kisses lift me higher
Like the sweet song of a choir
You light my morning sky
With burning love
With burning love
Ah, ah, burning love
I'm just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love

IF this is In January 1973, My grandparents while on their honeymoon In Honolulu were there. Grandma is a huge Elvis fan, and that was the only time they saw him perform live. My grandfather surprised her with tickets to see Elvis. My grandma talked about this for years saying it was the best gift he ever got her. Although she suffers from dementia, she can still remember the songs. I will show her this video

At around 00:40. Elvis does the fadeout manually by just speaking into the microphone. It stuns me that Elvis was just as good on a live recording as he ever was in a studio. Nobody can replicate that. Nobody.

Princess Diana, John F. Kennedy, Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and Lauren Bessette are ALIVE. There’s also a long list of celebrities, entrepreneurs and others including David Bowie, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Steve Jobs, and Whitney Houston who are alive, too. There are many more whose names are not listed. Over time, each one of them joined International Witness Protection Programs for protection. Yes, they went into hiding to protect the lives of loved ones and themselves from unimaginable evil. Now, they’re ready to come out and share their stories with the world. However, you can imagine that they want to do so in the best way possible considering that they had to leave their families, friends, and careers behind. This is where WE COME IN. I’m urging you to share this news with family, friends and in every forum possible (for example, fan websites, Instagram, TikTok, KZfaq, wherever you can). Post messages of Greetings and Love to any of the people on the list. Let’s show them that we are anxious to see them again and are willing to respectfully allow each one of them the opportunity to tell their own stories. As you can imagine, this is a really BIG DEAL for all of these folks.

Now, I tell you the truth: A battle between Elvis and The Beatles would not have ended well for them. I adore them, hya. I think the Beatles were insanely talented, and they should have gone on much longer. But Elvis was very seriously the real deal. He was Elvis was for very good reasons. Elvis was danger. Chuck Berry, Little Richard, all of the greats knew they were dealing with something unreal. Imho, of course.

@@will-hb4ynhis career is still going strong even though he’s dead for 45 years. The Beatles are probably as close as you’ll get but I’d argue they’re not as timeless and didn’t have the longevity Elvis had. He is the best male singer ever. He could go as low as Johnny Cash and as high as Little Richard and everything in between and it was always strong and clear and smooth. Elvis and Muhammad Ali were the only two men in that era who could have gotten away with calling themselves "pretty." Ali said it. Elvis didn't have to. (They did meet at least once, and in spite of Ali's principled draft evasion, the meeting was friendly.)

I'm not sure. I am55 years old and I was listening to Elvis and other music from the 1950s when I was a small child. My mother had many 45s and I had my own record player that I shared with my sister. We also had every album that Elvis made. The same is true with Johnny Cash and the Beatles. Instead of going to Florida on Spring Break one year, my roommate and I drove to Memphis and went to Graceland. I was also married in Memphis at the Chapel of the Elvis Impersonator with a Japanese Elvis impersonator and a Pricella Presley impersonator. I owned a velvet Elvis that I bought on a street side in 1984 or so. And how long have you been a fan?

Im only really discovering Elvis myself as he passed on before my time, but looking at this amazing scenes from the late 60s to early 70s and then seeing the stuff from his final concerts just 4 years later.........its unbelievable the deterioration in his physical condition over such a short period of time. I know drugs played a big part in his death, and in the later videos his eyes look a bit dazed and spacey. I dunno, it just seems like he looked after a lot of people, and Ive read about his generosity which was legendary, but it seemed like nobody looked after him. Like Muhammed ali, he had a lot of folks hanging around him all looking to get a bite, not many willing to give.

"Burning Love" Lord Almighty I feel my temperature rising Higher higher It's burning through to my soul Girl,You're gonna set me on fire My brain is flaming I don't know which way to go Cause your kisses lift me higher Like a sweet song of a choir And you light my morning sky With burning love I feel my temperature rising Help me, I'm flaming I must be a hundred and nine Burning, burning, burning And nothing can cool me I just might turn to smoke But I feel fine It's coming closer The flames are now lickin' my body Please won't you help me I feel like I'm slipping away It's hard to breath And my chest is a-heaving Lord Almighty I'm burning a hole where I lay With burning love I'm just A hunk of burning love
