Have you heard the expression "getting lost in the details"? I could get lost in the beautiful details of this painting for days! Lucky kids to have a mom with such patience:) It's incredibly moving to watch, and the haunting music is also just right. So glad you are back and thanks for kickstarting my 2023!

Wow, wow, wow! It's so beautiful what you make. A small magical fairy tale on a canvas. Whatever you do, it's always beautiful. Elyse, it sure has been a minute since you posted anything. You have been on my mind awhile, hoping everything is OK with you. I watched another artist the other day do a moving straight pour. The final results were so psychedelic and whimsical I thought it reminded me of your paintings, without all the hard work. We both got a chuckle. Hello Elyse, Happy New Year! It's nice to see you painting again. Missed you and your videos. I'm always surprised what you can see in an apparent "color mess"! Your imagination and your artistic ability to create these fantastic worlds are just great! As a child, I found the books most beautiful where, the more closely you looked at the illustrations, you could always discover something new and hidden. Which always remained hidden from an inattentive viewer. Just like your pictures. Have dabbled in painting for a long time... but I think my imagination is more in the area of writing stories for my grandchildren. So I'm very happy that you're here again and that you're giving me the opportunity to accompany you on your way to the emergence of magical worlds.
