FINALLY BACK On My Feet a Little Bit. Hitting a CAMPGROUND FOR A SHOWER and a much needed change of Views. NO MORE BEING TRAPPED IN THE VAN.
My name is Chrome i have been living in y cargo van for 6 years now. I started this lifestyle BROKE and IN DEBT and after 11 months of living the van life i cleared my debt and started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years i went from being broke and stealth camping in the city and sleeping at walmarts... to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van and driving deep off-grid into the backcountry and living life in the dirt. WOW LIFE HAS CHANGED.

I said it before, this is how I helped fix decades of back problems. A weak back is what causes instability in the first place. Do Yoga for alignment, and super light deadlifts with perfect form to begin strengthening the entire back. Gradually increase the weights over time. This has prevented my back from going “out” ever again. I’m a tall skinny 49 year old and I can deadlift my own body weight now.

Im 49 and a retired marine. I throw my back out 2-3 times a year and it’s the same. I’m miserable a few days and it slowly goes away. I recommend ice and 420 . No prescription pain meds it just gives you ghost pains . I hope you feel better bro

I’m not a Doctor but I do have back issues and I’ve suffered greatly. What helps me is Diclofenac. Might be worth asking a Doc for prescription to get out of that cycle of pain

I'm glad you are healing and able to stand up for that wonderful shower! I hurt a rib in my back about the same time you threw your back out -- I share with you the frustration of not being able to do normal things (like breathing) and how much patience it takes to give yourself a chance to heal. Yes definitely the swivels are useful for visitors. Fun to change your POV once in a while, too!

One of the biggest causes of crippling back pain/back going out is FOAM MATTRESSes. They are terrible for your back not being firm enough to give proper back support. Van Lifers-Foam Mattress-Bad Back

Who else in this world has to walk up to a stranger and record at least 3 x day whether or not they have used their bowels? Stairs, look up coin rubber flooring. You can get stair threads with built in bull nose.

Hi Chrome go easy I have been in your situation a few times. Make carefull progress but do not give yourself a setback. On another topic your front seats need an upgrade to armrests. Makes driving WAY better with support for your arms and mimizes the steering wheel rolling back and forth . And when you rotate the seat rearward you have a comfortable recliner. Have a nice day. I agree. The swivel with the adjustable recline with feet up on a padded storage box is great back support. If not lying in bed, the swivel is where I sit.

Glad that you are doing better, Chrome. Put the same flooring on your stairs as in the office space. Paint the upright portion of the stairs black as white will scuff and show dirt.
