The pub they go to was in Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire. It was a Costa for years but now another coffee shop; I used to drive past it everyday for years. Lots of stuff is filmed around there…… Bonus fact for any 90s kids reading this; Auntie Mabel’s house on Come Outside was a few miles from here (demolished 2022) and the laundrette she and pippin visit in the dry cleaning episode is also now and still a Costa and is in Chalfont St Peter

The venue looks to Taplow House near Maidenhead. It does resemble another venue which is actually in the Quantock Hills. I've been to both but I have a sketchy memory.
