Same. I think it's because I had no interest in marriage myself at the time this came out. I actually thought it was the worst Peep Show episode. But I could relate to it better now (being middle aged now).

Excellent episode. My first ever episode of Peep Show was the last one of this series. i then went back and watched it from the beginning. The evolution is one of the best and i’m so happy to be along for the ride with you guys ❤

I think if they had ended Peep Show there, S4;E6, it would be a lot more missed now. (But they kinda ran it into the ground, in my opinion.)

Indeed. I thought this episode's plot was way too forced at the time. This one and the next episode I always considered duds. (Although I did enjoy this re-watch.)

You're right. It is weird to take a friend to meet spouse's parents. (I think the creators realised the show was best when Mark and Jez were in the same locale; and therefore this ended up being a bit of a forced episode.)

Not really. Guns seemed perfectly normal in the UK until 20 years ago, (when they were confiscated by the state..)
