I can’t believe no one mentions The Last Shadow Puppets. Alex Turner broke away from AM and joined with Miles Cane to make two brilliant albums. Standing Next to Me is the stand out song, also The Age of the Understatement.

Are you guys able by now to notice the northern English accent? his opening address to the audience shows his accent to be very strong.. English is so different here from area to area. Love your vids my friends... I watch them all. You two guys bounce off each other in a perfect way!

Alex's style in this version does not do the song justice. I like some of the changes but I gravitate toward the first 2 albums over the newer stuff.

same as. this was right after the release of AM and so they performed every song as if it was an AM song. I like a lot of their newer stuff but when they tried to do the older stuff in that style it just didn’t have the same effect. 505 in this style doesn’t suit his voice at all.

Howdo... loving your reactions, getting me through the working day :) . I know you have a long play list to get through, but I thought I would recommend a new band for you (I don't think you've reviewed them yet, from what I can see). Elbow, a band from Greater Manchester, bit of an Indie rock band, who do some fantastic songs. Guy Garvey is the lead singer, who is a great lyricist. They've been going since 1997, so plenty to investigate if you like what you hear. I could recommend a dozen songs to start with, but maybe try either Grounds For Divorce or One Day Like This from their 2012 T in the park live set. Agreed doesnt do 505 justice.. I was at the Old Trafford (Cricket Ground) concert for the release of the 2nd Album.. mosh pit, piss throwing madness. Supported by the late Aimee Winehouse (fk out of her tree), Super Grass was epic and the Coral was epic too. The Beatles mock band from Japan opened up called the Parrots

This isn't the best version of this song. Check out Florescent Adolescent, that's a great song! Also A Certain Romance. Miles Kane is worth checking out, so are Last Shadow Puppets.

505 is massively overrated for me. You haven’t heard Arctic Monkeys until you’ve heard “A Certain Romance” or “The View From The Afternoon” or even their most recent album “Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino” which is completely different from their other stuff but their best music since their debut in my opinion. Loving these reactions tho lads 👍
