😅 similar numbers. I'm starting on the 15th, am 5'8, 232lbs. My goal is 140s-155. My major issue is what to eat after I lose the weight. I gained it by being a bad vegetarian (lots of carbs in place of the meat). Cut to me about 90lbs heavier (was in the low 140s when I stopped eating meat 😢). I have faith we got this 👍

I missed you being absent the last few years, and was so happy to see you back. I wish I could drop 1.5 lbs./day, which is what you have done in the last 3 months. 1.5 lbs/day!!!!! I am on day 8 of my water fast, and I have dropped "only" 1 lb./day. I needed to get my overeating and binging under control, therefore I am doing a 21 day water fast. Afterwards, I plan on doing rolling 48-72 hour fasts. The problem I have had up to now, is that once I open an eating window, I have not wanted to go back to fasting. I love watching your process, and how you straight out say that it takes iron discipline. I remember a few years ago, when you were dropping the excess weight in order to attend a wedding. I have a birthday coming up in two months and I do not want to be fat anymore.....Thank you for documenting your journey. You look so healthy and strong. Well done!

You might want to break it using like a veggie and fruit smoothie. Not like a product but like you make it. With some fruits and vegetables . I had a similar issue and then realized my body needs fiber to move the waste and toxins out of my body and then I would go to the bathroom and then drop weight . I have shorter fasts but I’m only breaking it right now with a fruit and vegetable smoothie. Mainly greens and like blueberries or something not as sweet. I’m pretty convinced that my body is getting rid of stuff it just is stuck in intestines until you give it the fiber it needs to clear out

I discovered your channel the last week. You've inspired me Jerome. I have struggled with my weight my whole life. Over the past two years, I lost 25kgs and then stress over the last six month has seen me put it all back on. I am a stress eater, that's for sure. But your results have motivated me. I have fasted before, and my longest fast was around 42 hours. I am currently trying a 96 hour fast (41 hours in) and then will refeed. I think your method is exactly what I have been looking for. I have more energy, more mental clarity, and I feel like I've got this again. I have around 50kgs to lose and this time, I will get there and stay there. I will keep coming back here for motivation, thanks for helping all of us!

Thanks for your message today. It hit the spot for me. I was so upset that I've been fasting and hitting my mark for a while only to wake up one morning and be 4lbs heavier, knowing that I did everything that I was normally doing. I was very upset but I told myself that I was still going to keep going on my fast and not give up.

Omg! I was tossing and turning in bed because of my anxiety to begin eating again. I am only 1 hour away from reaching my 100-hour fasting challenge and it is taking massive strength to sleep!!! So here I am flipping through videos and see a new video from YOU! So awesome and just what I needed to kickstart my very first re-feed. Man, I started this journey due to watching one of your videos. Why? Because you are so real and very authentic in your transparency as a flawed individual, as are everybody else. That resonated with me. I plan to go to sleep and begin the feed in the morning. Too tired to prepare some food after midnight. Ugh! As for the “consistency” challenge talk, it came right on time. I’ve planned on doing this for the duration of February. I’m journaling too to strengthen my willpower if I fall short in March. I think that if I weigh myself, it may trigger a negative reaction and cause me to stumble. I have a hate/live relationship with the scale. My goal is to resist it for February and introduce the scale in the month of March. I’ve got to work on this negative connotation with scales.

25 months on a ketogenic and carnivorous diet, I lost 45 kg from 145 kg. I found your channel last week and you are my encouragement to try longer fasts or back-to-back longer fasts. I have been weight loss stalled for a year now at 100+ even on OMAD carnivore. Once a month, I normally fast for 72 hours. I began my 72-hour fast on Day 1 at 22 hours ago; I also fasted for 72 hours last week. I will, however, attempt back-to-back fast this time rather than OMAD. 85 kg is my goal weight. I will update this mission soon!

Good luck, glad you made the decision to try again. Remember don't aim for perfection, rather aim for good consistency, no such thing as 100% perfect. I literally have been contemplating which route to take, ONCE AGAIN, to regain health. Like you, I have been on every diet known to mankind, to no avail! I am also an emotional eater! Hi Jerome! Question: Why do you still consider yourself a binge eater if you can go four entire days without touching a single piece of food? I think the next fast you start you should say aloud: I am no longer a binge eater starting today. The next meal is to refuel my body for the next fast...you're doing so great. Maintenance is coming soon and you gotta break out of that binge eating mentality. It's the same for me as well...
@indiasheana
@indiasheana 6 ай бұрын
I can't speak for him, but I'm a binge eater. My longest fast was over 5 days. For me, it's easier to not eat at all than to control my portions and eat "normal". Once I start eating, it's hard to stop. Fasting creates balance for me.
@girlhoney
@girlhoney 6 ай бұрын
@indiasheana I used to consider myself a binge eater too until I realized I could go a full 5 days without eating, eat for 2 hours and go right back into a 4 or 5 day fast. My question is why do we still consider ourselves binge eaters if we can go almost an entire week without eating? binge eaters can't do that.

Couldn’t sleep last night and one of your videos was suggested to me by KZfaq. It was meant to be! You are exactly what I need. I’ve lost over 100 lbs on my own doing IF and OMAD but at some point I cheated and got completely out of my rolling fasts. I need you to help keep me accountable. I am also a perfectionist with ADHD and I’m so hard on myself. I’d like to reach out to you to look into more one on one support. It’s Tuesday, Feb 6th @ 9:15 am and I’m starting again right now. Bummed I missed the live today. Hope everyone is well! Relate very much to the “all or nothing” mentality. Already today I had this issue- told myself I was starting my next 40+ today at 6. But wasn’t able to start as planned. I almost blew everything up😮 .I did have an F-it moment, but I put the popcorn down and started again. Window started at 9 tonight instead, but at least I started back today instead of tomorrow. Found you last week- completed a 65 then a 42, but only did IF over the weekend. Still trying to figure this out but happy I completed my first rolling extended fast. I’m in for the challenge❤ Keep up the great work Jerome! Looking forward to seeing my own success story come to fruition. We share a lot of the same concerns. Thank you for the inspiration ❤

Hello, Jerome, I am now on OMAD because I plateaued but I've been consistent until I got to the point of not feeling hungry. It took a while. Months but I stayed on Ketovore. Second time now. Finally started losing a little again. I have no plans of getting extreme because I am not that desperate to do everything overnight and I am not far from to my goal but I've enjoyed watching your videos. BTW~ You got a lot younger looking as you've progressed. 43 is still young. It hasn't been that easy for me this round because I am also trying to still keep a weight loss journey while I have faced other matters including cancer. Today, I am in good health and feeling well. Wishing you all the continued success!

I went from 143 to 120 and I kept it off in the last year and a half through fasting. I started with the 18 hours fasting at a six hour eating window and then I shortened it. And now I vary my fast anywhere from 18 to 72 hours. But this is the best I felt in my whole life. Thank you and keep it up!

Your videos are so comforting. I have been overweight most of my life, and I finally lost 60 lbs 5 years ago doing a medically supervised diet (I don't recommend!). Then I changed jobs and ended up hating it, and binged all sorts of gas station foods until I gained it all back and then some. I've been telling myself for the last 4 years that I'm going to lose the weight. I fast consistently for a few weeks and then give up because it gets hard and I miss the comfort of food. 😅 This is exactly the kind of encouragement I need. I so appreciate you and your videos. Thank you!

I'm having a hard time these last 10 days. Since I did my first 7-day, then 72 hour fasts ...and feeling ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...Im suddenly struggling to do multiple day fasts. Worse still, I HAVE to do low carb for health reasons (I have chronic inflammation, chronic kidney disease, IBS and hypertension), I'm eating one meal a day...but it's carb loaded, which is making me feel lousy. Im determined to keep going, but I need to up my game and get back in to the "I deserve to feel great" mindset. I know that having a refeed that is full of the junk carbs may sound like it's a treat, but in reality the next two days are tortuous xxx

Consistency is something I continue to need to work on I got really good at doing OMAD My problem was not eating the junk and not being consistent with walking or working out So my plan going forward I work 3 twelve hour shifts a week I usually work them in a row It’s difficult for me to not eat a meal at work Someday that might change, but for now, that’s how it is That being said, on the days I work I am doing OMAD and keeping carbs under 100 and my eating window is 45 minutes And on days off, I will be completing a longer fast For example, this week I worked Monday and Tuesday (OMAD days) and I’m off Wednesday,Thursday and Friday and on those off days I will be fasting and won’t have another meal until I eat at work on Saturday at lunchtime, then go back to OMAD until I have my next stretch of time off This will be the longest fast I’ve done in a long time (the most recent longest was 52 hours) But I think I can do it! Thanks again for everything! I am currently walking on the treadmill at the gym as it’s too cold to walk outside Have a good week!

I also plan to continue eating heavily on a Whole Foods plant-based so will probly be less than 2000 calories on refeeds. I have about 100 pounds to lose Do you have any advice or thoughts on my chances on completing this in 90 days?

So I started fasting doing rolling 72's in 2019 and lost a lot of weight. like you Jerome I gained it all back except I gained 80 more lbs. I am now 280. So I did 90 hr fast and decided to break my fast. I gained like 3 or 4 lbs BUT It never came off until the day of the next break and that happened again. It really got me discouraged but I'm thinking maybe I need to fast longer...I did gain A LOT of weight between 2019 and 2024. Any suggestions?

I have been practising rolling +90s since the 1st of Feb. Had great results - 3.6 kgs lost in the first fast itself. But ever since, I seem to be stuck, not moving.. I felt my bowel movement was non existent during the second fast due to low water intake - so have corrected that since yesterday. Also, I have been regularly walking for at least 12,000 steps (+1hr) everyday and started sprinting yesterday.. but to my surprise I didnt end up losing 'anything' 😅😅 Any tips on whether iron/B12 supplements could have anything to do with this? - I take those every night. Also, how much water do you drink ? Lastly, I end up sleeping around 2 and wake up around 10 (sometimes, other times I dont sleep at all) - could this be contributing to the erratic weight loss? My journey so far - (I am 171cm, 5'7.5") 1/2 - 92.6 kg 2/2 - 90.8 3/2 - 90.0 4/2 - 89.2 - refeed 5/2 - 90.1 6/2 - 89.5 7/2 - 88.9 8/2 - 88.0 9/2 - 87.6 - refeed 10/2 - 88.8 11/2 - 88.8 kg Whatever it is, I am not giving up! 🤐🏃🏻‍♀️💪🏻⏰
