Let’s make an embroidered kitchen towel topper! And this video is an embroidery tutorial on how to make a towel topper from Designs by Juju.
The designer’s instructions are very clear, however, they only come in a PDF written format and they don’t include video instructions. So if you have this file (or are thinking about buying it) and want to see a video on how to make these kitchen towel toppers then this is for you.
Plus, I have a couple of good tips for things to avoid (again based on my experience) to make sure your embroidered towel topper looks professional and nicely finished.

Thanks for the tutorial of floating, adding batting and towel in the hoop! Please show also how to loop the towel on the stove handle.

Thank you! You can place the embroidered piece behind the stove handle, then fold the towel over the handle from back to front and insert the thru the towel topper opening 😊

Thank you for doing this video, you did an awesome job. I will say I think the reason you had a problem when you trimmed the batting away after it was first stitched down is probably because you cut through the stabilizer. Cutting through the stabilizer turned everything loose. Ask me how I know :) As long as you don't cut through the stabilizer you should not have a problem with things getting wacky. It's just easier for me to cut the layers one at a time instead of cutting through them altogether. Keep up the good work!

Are these motor oil resistant? I used semi synthetic and my wife hates when I dirty her towels after working in the garage. If I could put “garage” on them, maybe she won’t yell at me anymore?

Hi, mine felt like it was longer too when I first made it but after hanging it on the handle, it kind of balanced itself out. Did you use a kitchen towel or another type of towel?
