Love it. My Favorite scenes are winter scenes. I live in a land of northern lights, no doing them incorrectly, anything goes.

I do alot of resin projects, faux stained glass, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, and paint pours. I am just getting started with oils and OMG! I absolutely LOVE your videos! Thank you for great instruction and entertaining humor.

At the beggining you aply viridian hue. Can i use another green like pithalo green?

Absolutely! They are in fact very similar colors. Remember, when you're working with black canvases with this style, transparent colors like viridian hue, phthalo green and the ones I mention in the video are great examples. And always know, you never have to follow any of my paintings from every step. Use a different color, add more trees, add less trees, etc. When you're painting, it's all about what you want to create and your imagination!

Where do you get your brushes from?

The canvas in the beggining is paint with liquid black or just black?

Great question! It is not liquid black. It is a black canvas. You can buy them in black already or completely paint over a white canvas with a black acrylic or black gesso, which is NOT the same as liquid black. You let that dry completely, and then you add an oil based transparent medium such as refined linseed oil or liquid clear. Then you start painting while that transparent oil is still wet.
