😂😅😂😅😂😅 Kenny it's George, I have must of watched all your videos/tutorials multiple times, however this one.... I friggen lose it LMFAO every time I watched this one... 8 minutes 37 seconds into it and it sounds like something falls and makes a loud noise, watching your reaction is friggen PRICELESS!! I know I told you this before in emails, but I'm watching it again this evening and I have tears in my eyes laughing soooo hard!!! THANK YOU for not editing that part out!! That being said, I can't wait to see new videos/new season, as well as another live painting, those are awesome too brother!!!

Awesome just did my first painting the other day following your instructions. I was like woahhh I'm a painter now ! wish I could share a picture of it here to show you . I also did it in acrylic. I went and bought some gambling oil paints and did my first oil painting last night also it turned out pretty good . Thank you much appreciated for these videos keep up the hard work .

Thank you and that's great! Honestly if you would like, you can message me on any social media and I do share pics of other peoples work if you would like to submit. But Gamblin oils are very similar to the brand I use and it's got the right thickness needed for this technique so you bought a good choice. Please keep up the good work yourself, I subscribed to your channel. My grandfather was very much into model trains. Again I appreciate the feedback and support.

Thank you! And even being from NY, I have a lot of friends who chose to have their fall weddings in PA because those trees are just the most beautiful things about the season. I believe my wife took that footage in this video when we were on the Pennsylvania turnpike on the east side of the state.

Can you use acrylic medium in this tutorial?

The issue with acrylics is that they dry very fast because they are water based paints. And the wet on wet technique requires your paintings to stay wet throughout the entire process and that’s why oils are better. So in addition to your acrylics, you will have to incorporate a retardant to mix in with your colors to slow down the drying time. I, however am not familiar with these retardants, even back when I did paint with acrylics.

What kind of brushes do you use?

Natural bristle brushes are essential when using this technique. I mention all the sizes, palette knives, and any additional equipment used in the beginning of all my full length paint alongs and tutorials.

@@pa.fishpreacher6166 I started using the two and a half inch brush from the Bill Alexander line a few paintings back. Before that I did use the Bob Ross brand but I stopped for the most part using that company because I don’t want to support them. I buy them online but hesitant to mention the brands I use because technically I’m giving free sponsorship and I don’t want to do that…unless they want to pay me a few lol
