I AM DOING A 10K GIVEAWAY SO BE SURE TO LIKE & SUBSCRIBE!
I had to make a time-sensitive build for my niece and nephews who are running out of things to do at home. We must support thy family! Remember to be safe and smart out there!
Please Note: I was filming the whole thing and my camera kept running out of storage so there's a few chunks missing. I filmed almost 6 hours a day for 3 days straight. The stairs got completed and installed off-camera as well as the missing piece of metal roof and a climbing wall for the kids. Another thing I want to mention is that the bridge is hard mounted to the tree but rests on the treehouse between some supports so when the tree blows in the wind, the bridge has a few inches to move around so it doesn't rip apart anything.
If you have questions, feel free to ask away below!
Order some stickers to support! www.etsy.com/shop/TheWildbone...
If you want to support - / woodnessgoodness

Peace!

great family memories...reminds me of my dad and us when we were kids..miss this very much. your kids will remember this time when they are older and even if they move as adults to start their life they will have these wonderful memories. keep up the good work on your builds and building your families unity.

By my count, only 16 fasteners support the entire primary upper structure to the four 6x6 posts. Did you eventually add lag bolts for added shear strength at that key connection?
@WoodnessGoodness
@WoodnessGoodness Жыл бұрын
GRK fasteners which had same structural capacity as lags.

@paololupo1175
@paololupo1175 2 жыл бұрын
You are putting screws in the wrong place: if you put them in the top part (or center) you don't use the full strength given from the width of the wood. Wood works better in compression than in tension.

Привет. Зачем деревянные столбы ставить в землю? Сгниют очень быстро ((( фатальная ошибка! В землю нужно металлические столбы и залить бетоном и только выше земли вязать дерево к металлу!!!
