For some women it's a snap of the finger, for others it's a long long journey. I never had an idea how difficult it could be to get pregnant, because everything was a snap of the finger for me. Kudos to all women who choose to go through with IVF and congratulations on having such a beautiful baby!

Congrats to you both! Both my wife and I are currently going through this phase and in the next couple of months, it will be our third IVF. Hopefully this time around, it'll stick. This is refreshing for my husband & I. We've had so many miscarriages after 10 or 12 we quit counting. We've tried for going on and off 5 years. Our FS and other specialist have tried. We cannot adopt or foster because my husband did something 3 decades ago that made him a felon. He forgot not to drive through a school zone after hunting. I don't know if he was speeding too but it has cost us our future ever since his incident decades ago. Needed this story to continue to not be bitter but celebrate life with others in general not only pregnancies or children but all people of all ages. Thank you for sharing!

16years ago ivf was my mission. I kept a journal that I hope to show my twins. They know my pregnancy super natural & a bit of a science project. It’s always different when it’s beyond you’re control. I thank God I didn’t give up! Bless your family. ( Iam hoping you’ll give it another try)

I went through this for 2.5 years... the month I was doing ivf while I was estrogen priming and few days before buying my ivf drugs I found out I was naturally pregnant! It was a shock of a lifetime! But I felt everything you said about the waiting for months and months.. it was mentally exhausting and extremely difficult... I’m now 3 months pregnant.. ❤️

comes from Sweden, made 6 ivf attempts, got pregnant on the second attempt but got miscarriage. now we take a break but will make more attempts.

Another lovely video, my husband and I struggled to conceive our first took 2.5 years, lots of tests, lots of prodding and poking but finally had our son jack in 2017. We're currently trying for our second, had some hiccups on the way but we'll get there. What a lovely family!💓 We’re so happy that you got pregnant on your first IVF attempt and that now you’re enjoying the bliss of parenthood. Becoming parents through IVF requires putting a lot of time and energy into the process - from administering injections, having regular checkups to undergoing various medical procedures and planning the baby’s birth. Fertility procedures could be emotionally draining. Many people during/after treatment experience stress, nervousness, sadness, disappointment and frustration. As overwhelming as it may all seem, what you’re feeling is completely normal. But this should not stop you from exploring various family-building options, such as fertility medications, medical treatments, donor-assisted reproduction and adoption. We hope that this video will inspire many women and couples to continue to seek alternative paths to becoming parents and never give up on their dream of having a baby.

I rarely comment on videos. I’m not a mother yet but my biggest fear is that for some odd reason I will not be able to get pregnant. Thank you for sharing your story! Happy to see you had a positive experience. I, too, tried to conceive for 3 years unsuccessfully. A doctor told us we had a 1% chance of conceiving naturally and would need to do IVF. We could not afford that option. The problem was my husband sperm counts were low. It's amazing that 2 mil sperm couldn't get the job done. 😂 After 3 failed attempts at IUI, I gave my husband supplements that increased his sperm count and 4 months and a lot of prayer later, we conceived our miracle girl. So will be 6 in July and is more than we bargained for. She is so awesome! I would have liked to have more children but I guess it wasn't in the cards. Either way, the one good egg we got is amazing. Best of luck and lots of sticky dust to those of you trying. Find yourself a village to talk and commiserate about what you are going through. I promise you aren't alone!

I’m actually a real estate agent and joined Ryan’s course and membership and found out a bit before your book released that you guys did IVF.!! I’m actually getting ready to start myself. We are doing IFV for a little different reason. My husband and I are both carriers for a rare genetic disease called CDG 1a . We have a little boy together named Dalton who was diagnosed with CDG at about 6 months. We have decided to try IVF with genetic testing. I have my meds and my baseline ultrasound and bloodwork are Thursday! You talking about feeling alone is so true!! I have felt like people think that IVF is nothing and that I shouldn’t be so nervous. There is a lot if unknown and especially not having any past experience and knowing what to expect. I’m think of doing a vlog about it? Maybe release when we are done. I don’t know if you had to do it agin would you share as you went along or share afterwards.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Been there, i know what you went thru with all the shots & blood tests & I was 49 at the time, in 1999 I went thru this for my son & daughter-in law, their embryos, & we were blessed with beautiful full term twins who are now 19 & in college

thanks emilia for sharing your story, i was shocked how much we are the same, i am a woman from other side of the world, far from where you are, a woman from iran, but i underestand every single word you said, i experienced every single word of your story, i think world is changing, as you said my mother used to say to me that becoming pregnant was so easy for them and i used to say that i am not ready when i was trying hard every month, and it realy made me sad, i was so disappointed , but after all we did it throw IUI which is much more easier than IVF,really thanks god and thanks science ,now i have a baby boy who is my heart and my world, i pray for all the couples,may all the women all over the world(if they want) have the beautiful experience of being mother :)

Hi! Thanks for sharing. We had IVF and we had one fertilised. He is now 8. 22 months later I had natural twins (no idea how!). I also believed I would have to do a few times. I ended up with PTSD because I coped well at the time and fell apart when he was 6 months old. I was terrified he was my only baby. Most stressful thing a woman can ever do but it was beautiful too. Ps I went to watch Wimbledon tennis with my mum and said 'I feel like a chicken'

Yes there is a big stigma about IVF. But the first IVF baby is now 50 years old! It’s a very old and safe technology that had helped so many families. It should not be a bad stigma about IVF. You are amazing!

Kudos to you and Ryan! We are a gay couple who are pregnant at 18 weeks. I didn’t go thru what you went thru so watching this open my mind on how hard it is for women. But Im not gonna lie, its also hard in our situation where we have zero control for everything. Failed transfers, multiple failed attempts coz our first surrogate can’t get to the lining the doctor wants her to be in. So I teared up a bit when I saw the footage of you finding out you’re pregnant. Reminds me of how I reacted when we found out our surrogate is pregnant! Thanks for this video!

First try for us to. After 3 years of trying naturally , IVF worked first go......I so wish we hadn't struggled on for so long before giving IVF a go duh! I also got used to the shots and they were not so bad actually. Anyway, 7 years later our A1-blastocyst son is thriving , so is our naturally conceived second son who is 3 years...God works in mysterious ways! I can't wait to tell my son his personal and unique conception story one day 🙏😊

We were meant to do IVF this month but it got postponed because of covid19. Hopefully one day 🙏🏻

Hiya had cried watching this.. 2020 had my ivf treatment and having injection everyday was very emotional but trying to get yourself brave I know the feeling.. All emotions your trying to hide and keep it to yourself. Finally had 7 matured eggs and fertilised with sperm thru isci ivf it's on frozen atm.. Its put on hold because my gyno want me to have another endometriosis laparoscopy first before doing the transfer. I hope it would be a successful for me in gods help😢🙏🙏

It all is a BIG deal yet when woman are going through it they downplay the process and keep it private. Me included! We did seven IVF cycles and had seven miscarriages some far enough along to know that they were multiples and some so early that they hardly were a bleep on the screen. I wanted to know that in the end, I did everything possible so I would have no regrets. Doctor and my husband wanted me to stop earlier because it became dangerous (one ectopic ovarian pregnancy) but I still did another cycle. Do I regret any of it? No! not for a second. I have two beautiful children through adoption. When our adoptions were complete I think I finally realized that I just wanted to be a parent and it didn't have to be a biological child. Thanks for sharing your story as it will make a different for someone suffering in silence.
