I think it was Abedi Pele that said that only Nigeria can defeat Nigeria. As soon as some people started campaigning for Amunike to take over the Super Eagles, some mischeifmakers made up the story that he didn't vote for Osime. I saw him interviewed before the CAF awards. He was asked who he felt deserved to win best player and he said Osimhen deserved it. He even gave his reasons. He said that Salah did not have a good season. He said Morocco's world cup success was not necessarily due to Hakimi's performance but a team effort. On the other hand, he said Osimhen was largely responsible for Napoli's record season. Our "bad bele" is our downfall in Nigeria. Only God can save us.

I saw a video. The video that I saw, he said, Sallah. However, this was not a sentence. I don't know what his response was in answer to. I don't know when the comment was made. Amunike claims he wasn't eligible to vote. No one in CAF or NFF has refuted his statement. This should be easy to verify.

Is this present coach can be called a coach or dullard. He knows nothing. They are only using him to embezzle money in NFF. The day we believe in the ability of our past legends like Amunike and co, that's the day we can boast of playing great football again. I dare NFF to appoint highly discipline Amunike, Samson Siasia, and Sunday Oliseh, that's the day you will all see great footballing talents again in this world.
