I was about 12 when this movie came out and The Mask is basically a visual expression of the awkwardness of adolescence. A reserved, nervous exterior and a horny, goofy maniac underneath 😅

My favorite Jim Carrey films, beside those you already watched, ar the comedies "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and its sequel, and the drama "The Truman Show," and the suspense-thriller "The Number 23."

This movie was awesome. Jim Carrey all the other actors included made a great job. The special effects for those times are still astonishing till this day. I love the concept of The Mask. Wish it could make it’s way in The MCU as one of the most dangerous items in the universe 😂.. would be cool to see it reek havoc

Since I love toons and comedy, I would have been much like what Stanley turned into if I had the mask. Unfortunately, I also like sci-fi and action. Who knows what that would have created.

1994 was actually a very big year for movies… Ace Ventura: Pet Detective The Mask Dumb and Dumber Forrest Gump Shawshank Redemption Pulp Fiction Natural Born Killers Lion King Speed Interview with the Vampire Legends of the Fall All of those movies came out in 1994

Fun movie.. but instead of THE MASK... you should do a reaction to MASK. the true story of Rocky Dennis. A young man born with one of the worst cases of cranial elephantitus ever.. and raised by his mom and her outlaw biker friends.. It's incredible and I haven't seen anybody do a reaction to it yet
