A beautiful tune by Kenny Burrell. Mr. Malone brought out deep emotions that needed to be released. Greatly expressed in his playing.

Amazing musicians. Russell's playing is always devoid of licks and unnecessary notes...just the essential soulful elements. So much emotion is conveyed in this music. Every note counts...sparse, sublime and wonderful.

I've never played an instrument but I've heard many jazz musicians say "you have to play from the heart". Never really understood what they meant. But when I saw this live I began to understand. Very touching.
