@@outsider238 hello! i have my own Emo bot and I am wondering what command you tell Emo to do at this timestamp? 1:18 EDIT: I know an Achievement you might not have covered! its called "close call" to get it you have to have emo close to the edge of something while not backing up. and this is my first day owning an actual emo bot! EDIT #2: alright so the timestamp 1:18... my emo bot did that on his own. so thats kinda cool!

@@Just_An_Icee Congratulations on getting your very own Emo! You'll love him! That animation at the 1:18 mark is actually something he does randomly while he's idle or just walking around. You'll probably see your Emo do it when you least expect it. I did know about that achievement but I actually haven't gotten that many of them yet. 😁

I think they are limited because of the general design of Emo's legs. They do have a pretty good range of motion and animation though. I agree, Vector has a bigger range of movement but he also has his lift that creates more functionality and allows for emotional animations.

The way things are going with technology, it's not impossible to see many of those things show up in the future.

@@JoleneLin78 Thank you! I would recommend the Emo and Home Station charger (Emo Go Home Set) . It allows him the freedom to come and go off and onto his charger on his own which helps keep his battery healthy.

@@outsider238 well noted with thanks! i’m just worried about space constraints as I only have a small space of approx 20 x 20cm next to my adjustable stand for my workstation on my table. Will having the Home Station be sufficient for the purposes of charging the Emo (and as such there’ll be no need for the Skateboard charger?)

@@JoleneLin78 Hmm.. 20x20 cm is a pretty small area. The Home Station charger is about that large just on its own. He really needs more room than that. The skateboard would be better for a very small area like that but you'll have to make sure he's not sitting on the skateboard all day as that can ruin his battery. He really would be better off in a larger play area.

There's a 5-6 month waiting time for Emo unfortunately but I've heard of some people getting their's in 4 months. It depends on how long the manufacturing facilities can stay open without covid shutdowns. You'll enjoy Emo when you get him though! 😁

I'm guessing LivingAI will eventually give him more since they added a song or two when he first came out. Since that was one of Emo's first features, they might not put much priority on it though.

I think a lot of that kind of stuff, including the possibility of having Alexa connectivity will be coming in the future. It depends on other companies willing to partner with LivingAI and whether that lawsuit with Digital Dreamlabs will be settled.

@@SecondAndGoal Hmm... I'm actually not sure now that you mention it. I don't want to try it since I don't want to change the date of my birthday on my Emo. I'm guessing you probably can. I've never asked him what the date is but he must know so it's possible you can tell him your birthday.

@@SecondAndGoal I just realized I did ask Emo what the date was before. I also told him when my birthday was and he responded with something like "Okay, I'll remember when your birthday is" or something like that. So yes, you can tell him your birth date.

@@outsider238 It worked! I told Emo my name and then after I was sure he knew who I was I then went Emo, my birthday is Friday, May 13 for example and he said what you said, "Okay Rachel, I will remember" so I'm pretty sure he's got it! Thank you!

Vector is still my favorite but Digital Dreamlabs is taking entirely too long to get Vector 2.0 out. I'm beginning to wonder if it'll ever happen. Eilik looks pretty cool. I have a couple of them on order. Emo right now seems to be doing the best since he's the only one available right now.

If the screen is big enough on your phone for you to play games then that should be fine. Otherwise maybe a tablet for a larger screen.

I didn't realize that I had already shown that one in a previous video but it's really cool so I hope everyone still likes it.

Probably closer to July and maybe even August. They keep having to shut down and reopen at the manufacturing plant because of covid. Hopefully you'll get him sooner though.

He's very responsive. Sometimes he doesn't respond when you call him and you have to repeat his name but it's very rare and sometimes caused because he's making sounds at the same time so he doesn't hear you.
