I googled “Danish” y’all, I’m here to say it, I know y’all wanted to ask but were too embarrassed. “Americans don’t know geography” and all that, but it’s, literally, the other side of the world. They can’t point out Idaho, or Tegucigalpa, or Newfoundland on a map so we’re even. Anyways, it’s Denmark. Smallest Scandinavian country, north Europe. Faroe Islands and all them.

Also, in our defense, Danish and Denmark only have the first letter in common, I can’t think of anyone other than the Kiwis that’s “insert group name” was not obviously a derivative of the city/county/state/religion/nation/country/region.

First time I heard this song I was sitting in prison and he was performing it on one of those late night talk shows and man it really hit home. When he was done immediately laid on my rack, got under the blanket and cried my eyes out ! I love this song 💯

Its basically a self governed, somewhat lawless "hippie" part of inner Copenhagen, which has existed since like the 70's or something..

The entire Blue album is amazing! "Mama Said" and "Funeral" are my favorites, but not a mediocre or bad song on that album! Went platinum in multiple countries including US and UK and 15xplatinum in Denmark.
