What is emotional intelligence? How can leaders build emotional intelligence? And why is emotional intelligence important for leaders to develop?

This is the biggest problem with todays world. It's run by business people who would score high in a psychopath test. Unfortunately these people do have a high drive to succeed but don't know how important it is to include care and compassion into their endeavours. I'm not sure if one can be taught things like empathy but fascinating your video suggests it just might. Although i do believe the world is recognising the fact that narcissistic business people hold many of the highest and most important positions of power in politics and other places, these people are going to be hard to oik out, so maybe there is a way to make the world a beautiful place while these people remain in their positions. Thanks for your inspiration. I really really love this stuff because my biggest dream is to solve the biggest problems the world has and you touch on that. Thanks again.

I once heard a remarkable leader attribute his company's success to the culture, explaining that people were drawn to it because he personally made an effort to connect with one employee each day, asking about their likes and dislikes.

Great video! Today, many people including executives pay very little attention to Emotional Intelligence. They are more like a boss than a leader.

Hello and Good.morning.Your videos are very informative mam. I would like to know two things. 1. For the last 2 years I have been in my job and recently my boss got changed. I have analysed more almost 400 cases in the last 2 years. However my previous boss labelled me to my new boss as my analysis is not good. That I found very strange and lowers my confidence. 2. One of my juniors who joined after 1 year I joined , I asked for some help from him as I was short of productivity. Instead of giving me a case he asked me for help from me. Is it right on my part to not help him. I feel he does it deliberately.
