We head to Missouri to help Jesse from Edwards Lawn Service turn around his business. He's bringing in $470K however he is struggling with bigger issues than his revenue. He left his business to try another business venture, meanwhile the business falls apart. As he abandons his crew, let's see if we can get things back on track.

Good job Mike Andes, you successfully done your job making yourself look so great by cutting down another lawn care crew by trying to make yourself look better. Do you have a life besides KZfaq or trying to gain fame? When’s the last time you’ve been with the crew mowing? Did you ever get to hear the stories of the crew members without trying to monopolize on them like you did here? Maybe you should take a second to hear me out. Jesse was raised around addicts, drug dealers, bikers, and low lives but made a name for himself, successfully got out of poverty and escaped the world off addiction. He’s doing so great and I’m so proud to call him my brother! He’s kicking but at life and has made a name for himself, our family, and has established positive, long-term, healthy relationships that are always there to support him, even when family wasn’t (even though I still call and check on him and to try to hang with him but he always said he was busy up until recently). To give you some context, Jesse has mowed yards from the time that he was 12 to 13 years old because we (his twin brother) grew up in a household where our parents didn’t want us inside because they didn’t want us to see them using drugs, and they didn’t want to be bothered. We had 0 guidance in life besides through friends who looked past our downfalls and baggage, and fellow brothers in Christ who encouraged us along the way, and were there to guide us through the road of success from living in poverty and never getting a chance to escape grief as young adults. Jesse and I both put our all into everything that we do, and that often gets taken advantage of, and that, you sir have done so. Send me your shipping address and I’ll send you your an award for being the biggest bully/ D-bag in the world and for taking advantage of others stories. To speak on the questions that you asked Levi, he struggles with mental illnesses himself and would be the first to tell you so, but you pimped out his emotions and asked him certain questions to put a negative spin on his role in this video. I’ll be honest, when Levi said that I wasn’t good at my job, that really pissed me off because when I started, Jesse he begged me to work for him because he was moving to California to pursue sales in the Solar Industry. (I left a job at The Potters House Coffee shop across from campus that is a college ministry and was offered the position after volunteering my time there. Even though ministry is hard and messy at times, and I’m not always the best at being consistent with my faith, I loved my job there and didn’t plan to leave unless I found something that paid better. I sure didn’t leave that job to put up with your crap or dealing with negligent employees that could never show up on time or and tell lies that would fool the Devil himself. Levi was hardly ever there for me when I needed advice and he was super negative about my role because I wasn’t Jesse. Like he said, he was always late to work because he had a drinking problem and struggled with drug abuse, mainly weed, even though it’s not illegal in our state anymore, but it was every since he’s been using and has always struggled with drinking every since I’ve known him. That exemplifies his mental illness and he doesn’t always have a sound mind, so how’s he gonna be able to be a competent source of news for you, or is it that you’re yet again trying to twist stuff to make work for your gain and success? Good job man⭐️I worked my ass off for Jesse and when I couldn’t get ahold of him, he would tell me via text to figure it out because “that’s what he pays me for.” I was basically running the whole admin side of the business and couldn’t even get ahold of him to ask questions. He expected me to start in 2 weeks and said he trained me but he only worked with me for two days.. I’m not a business owner, I never wanted that role but was expected to do so even though I was paid very little, maybe $700 - $800 a month, but couldn’t keep making time for a business that was hardly compensating me. I spent 2 months training Holly and she shadowed me as I worked for the first month, so she had plenty of time to learn even though Levi’s said I didn’t train her and I didn’t put my full effort in doing so. She had plenty of time to be trained, especially compared to me, “when I had to figure it out myself.” Jesse apologized to me for doing that and started to pay me a little more but decided I didn’t want to spend another year going that way. I can only make $1550 a month in gross income to keep my disability benefits as it is, but was expected to work basically 8:00 - 5:pm, sometimes 6 or 7 depending what was required for the day, but was basically asked to work 40+ hours. Could anyone else run a business as an office manager with three crews that run year round, and get paid as little as I did while being a newly wed and living as a paraplegic in a wheelchair? I did that as a favor out of the kindness of my heart and now I hear you taking advantage of these guys. I tell you what Mike Andes, if I didn’t love Christ, didn’t care about your salvation, and wasn’t in a wheelchair.. I’d flat out give you the biggest ass whooping of your life. You need to get a life and stop picking on the small man trying to make a name for himself self. He DID make a name for himself, and who DID overcome some of lives toughest obstacles. Shame on you for doing a disservice for the lawn care industry and for picking on guys who get into this field of work because they’re trying to survive at life and want to nake a difference in their family history. Get to know Jesse, even though he’s struggled with life and has made decisions that he’s learning from, he’s got a good head on his shoulders and is really trying to make the best decisions in life to better himself self, and those that are around him. Yes he has a lot of learning as most people do, but it doesn’t mean insecure, little men like you need to stoop this low. I hope you can make the right choice and at least try to do good out of this show and pay attention to the people who are creating this poor content. It’s garbage and you’re not some amazing expert on business. You rolled the dice, did good in business, but that doesn’t mean everyone values your opinion. You have a following which means people may agree with you, but it doesn’t mean that you are an expert and that you shouldn’t be held accountable for what you say. Get a life and get off of Yourube. Focus on your business and lead by example, not your empty words. You’re probably good at running a business but you need to keep learning and stop trying to be a reality show.

Yup this was about 5 years ago when I was in a bad spot and it wasn't at the job. It was while we were burning brush lol Im a changed man. I thought my past was my past. What this episode doesn't reveal is all the things I have done for these guys over the years. They would vouch for that if that question was asked. You live and you learn. Just like mike thought he wanted to be a doctor I wanted to try something else as well. I tried it. I lived and I hung on to my business. How many of you guys have done that? *crickets* We all have our own stories and we all do dumb things in life. I guess at least Im brave enough to ask for help and expose my mistakes. Im glad mike came out but I wish I got better advice than get a gf. He also didn't show how prepared I was and how I wrote out every problem I could think of that I could use help with. I hope he comes back and I can actually get some strategic advice next time. I guess that's my fault for being honest and transparent. It's my fault good and bad where Im at today and I fully accept that. My business isn't failing any more than any ones in these comments. Its not failing.. It could use help. Id like to also see how many of the haters on here have made it out of the truck let alone left the state for more than a week and everything not fall. Yes I'll say it again. It was dumb of me to leave my business but I learned. I lived. I experienced. I hope all of you get to say that one day. God bless @movingcompanyhustle @mikeandes

Being in the Landscape Industry, their are 2 types of owners. The owner who made a landscape company despite having no experience in lawn or landscaping, because they thought it would be a profitable venture (Jesse). Then you have the other type of owner who has knowledge and experience in the field, and started his own company because lawn care was his life.

According to what you’re saying how can one make a life in the lawn care industry if he/ she has 0 experience? Like I told Mike Andes in another comment, people get into this industry to make a name for themselves and to escape things like poverty, severed relationships, addictions, etc and there are people on the side lines taking advantage of their stories (Mike Andes.) Lawn care is not your life big shot, it’s a means of a paycheck to provide for things that really make up your life, like family, relationships, God and time with loved ones.” Get off of KZfaq and start working on your ego tough guy.

Same here brotha. Most people are chasing after mediocracy and are just there for the paycheck. I live, eat, breathe, & sleep lawn care. I'll be out of the field by the time i'm 31-32. I'm 28 now. Got 7 employees this year, last year I had 5 full time employees and we did $1.3 gross- $425k net after payroll, expenses, etc etc. I got out of prison in 2018 & started Acme Mowing, and now it's grown into what it has. Debt free million+/year business. Most people spend 20+ years trying to build a business and never end up getting out of debt.

10min and I'm stressed just listening to this. No one's perfect and we all make our mistakes, but so far it just sounds like he's not invested into growing this business. If it's not your passion, either close up shop, or save enough to give you enough time to find that next venture. Good luck to him. -finished watching. Glad to see Jesse just getting back to it. Head down and grind it out. SOP's, KPI's are needed to keep everyone accountable, take the data from that and make your business decisions if you need to hire or fire. Tracy is your major key player and I'm sure Levi could be even better too with more coaching and making those guys stakeholders within the company. Hiring is hard right now in any industry and people are just going to come and go, I think the key is when you find that rockstar employee, giving him opportunities to grow and want to stay will be key into how you can scale the business.

We shut down entirely, where we're located, it to cold to mow or do anything, it can be between 15F and -20F most winter days, but we havnt gotten any snow worth plowing either in years. I literally sold all my snow removal equipment last winter cause it wasnt worth it anymore. only thing I kept was the salt spreader.

Chase excellence, not women. When you get your house in order, the women will come. I'm not sure if it was the editing, but this guy seems all over the place. Focus on the business, and the rest will sort itself out. If you call yourself an alpha male; you aren't. Get Rich Cooper's book "The Unplugged Alpha".

This business will never grow & die out or will be sold off. No clear leadership, no one is being held accountable for their short comings & absolutely no drive to improve. I feel bad for the employees & the twin brother who is the only one keeping this company running at the moment.

Thank you for saying that, I worked my hurt of to do so and you can clearly see I wasn’t appreciated from Levi. He doesn’t get that I have a disability and can only work so many hours a month do to being on disability benefits from the Socail Security Administration. I was required to be up and around when they were 5:00am - 6pm, and had to stay after they were done for the day to wrap things up for the day and create their routes, etc. I can only make $1550 in gross income, so I was definitely working way more than I was being compensated for my time. I left a very good job where I served at a College Ministry and wouldn’t have left but Jesse begged me within 2 weeks of him leaving to California, so no I didn’t receive hardly any training besides for a couple of days and having to correspond when Jesse would have time, which was usually after working hours. I got burnt out and had to make a better decision for my life as a family man and a newly wed. I did things such as create and manage a profit and loss statement to sending bills, doing payroll, bidding jobs and doing billing, as well as corresponding with customers, so I don’t think Levi knows what he’s talking about. Yes I had to ask a lot of questions but it’s not like then where I’ve been with the company close to 10 years. Yes my brother needed some actual help, but Mike Andes did not do that, he just monopolized on the smaller man who asked him for help, not to partake in his drama of “Lawn Rescue,” formally known as bar rescue. Your corny man, start working on your ego and do something with your family, take a vacation with friends, and give God a chance. Teres so much more to life than doing what you’re currently doing.

I'll just be honest.. I don't think he realizes how close he is to losing everybody and going under. I personally wonder how he does in the field, because if that main guy gets poached I have a hunch everybody leaves. He just has an arrogance about him low-key. Maybe it was the joggers and clean sneakers. He shows up now.. to discipline..

Dude is way too worried abt having a family when he needs to be working on himself and his confidence. He has no drive at all. I mean he has a successful business or semi successful, he's good looking but he carries way too much baggage. Wanting to start a family when he doesn't trust himself or even love himself enough will just wind up in divorce. No woman likes a man who has no confidence.

Yeah Mike, what are you protecting?? You already humiliated Jesse, his business, and his whole crew, besides Tracy because he was smart enough to not run his mouth about the other employees who busted their ass too. He mainly gave his honest assessment and didn’t cut people’s hard work down like Levi did. You twisted all of the employees answers to the questions that your film crew asked, to fit your narrative of what you wanted to portray, which seems to be influenced by a crappy remake of the cheesy TV show, called, “Bar Rescue.” Are you trying to make a “Lawn Rescue?” If so, your gonna need to stop waisting peoples time and effort to do better in their business and give better advice than to get a girlfriend..
