Glass half full - it's a new space without the crazy neighbor so more peaceful sleep ahead, a roomy back patio to enjoy, and a second bedroom you can use to zone off work from the rest of your home living :) You got this Heaven! ♥️

Oh for the no closet situation, buy some clothing racks on wheels to hang your stuff on - I have two and love mine! They were so easy to put together.

The apartments in CT are $2,200+ it was impossible for me to get approved because they ask for your income to be 3 times the rent. The crazy thing is, I make a decent wage, more than the average person I’m sure. I don’t know how anyone can afford that rent. When you said people from New England, ouch I felt that 😂. Same thing is happening here with New Yorkers making cash offers.

I remember you talking about that neighbor over a year ago and I'm impressed you could tolerate it for this long already. You'll thank yourself for many years down the road that you moved away. As you get older, sleep becomes more important for both mental and physical health. I have misophonia (look it up) and I couldn't stay there 12 hours let alone 2 years.

I don't know what's going on with the housing market nowadays because I'm not buying a home or looking for a new apartment but at least we are not the 80% of people who are single with kids. When you see the statistics, you start to realize how our situation right now is not a coincidence. Nothing really is because things we see are just too perfectly timed. People who are struggling should see that and have patience because people are not making the smartest decisions and can only have faith it works out. Even when it's going to be full of new problems and new stresses because when you fix one problem, another pops up and it's an endless cycle of overcoming these obstacles. Inspiration is so scarce I feel like, and there's no one inspiring people to be better for themselves. But that's a topic for another time. So Heaven let's make this apartment worth living in yeah🌟.

Very very excited for your move. My family also had to put up with screaming neighbours across the street and party neighbours above our apartment. And basketballers in the weekends. I think i understand your pain :( we finally moved and we're doing so much better at school and work!! Am sure you'll get your sleep and peace back :)

Be careful with that attic. It's not really an attic. Anyone from any other apartment can get into yours from up there. I had one in my last apartment. Just check it. Get up there and look. Then have it bolted shut somehow if it's what I think it is.

The housing market is crazy, but I hope you can get a house soon. I've wondered for while where the people making less money are supposed to live after they get priced out of their area.
