This is just BS. The Russo Brothers created the best movies in the MCU, but they don't know shit about Hulk. The Hulk is super underpowered and doesn't correctly capture the true Hulk. This is disappointing, as Hulk and Wolverine are my two favorite heroes.

They really just did him dirty due to the rights issue with hulk. I'm sure they knew or had some idea how good his healing factor was/is. So they haven't really used him anywhere near his potential.

His arms needs to heal. The Hulk's massive regenerative ability is a huge part of his character, in the same way it is for Wolverine. Having the Hulk perpetually incapacitated completely mutes the point of his character as an unstoppable force of nature, or as "the strongest one there is". I like the theory that Professor Hulk was nullifying the Hulk's true powers, hence why he was overall weaker in many aspects in Endgame (this also aligns with the comics). But that when the Savage persona resurfaces, the arm wondrously heals and we have our Big Green Goliath back in action.

The stones are gamma radiation! That would have overpowered him not hurt him. Any gamma radiation that he was around in comics made him STRONGER!

Way to ruin the “strongest” most “unstoppable force of nature” if they keep his injuries permanent

I hope hulking out to the rage monster heals his arm, like how he spat out the bullet as Bruce described in Avengers 1.

I mean the thing is, in the Shang-Chi post-credits, while his arm is in a sling, the arm itself (from what could be seen) looked mostly fine, so it is still likely healing, it's just taking a lot longer. Hopefully, he'll be back to his former glory soon. EDIT: can y’all stop arguing in the replies? I wanted to voice my opinion, that doesn’t give y’all the right to crucify me or anyone else.

The Russos need to read Hulk comics. The Hulks strength and healing factor is what makes the Hulk so powerful. How can he tangle with Wolverine without a healing factor. If they make that movie, trust me it will suck without his strength and healing factor. The Hulk we be the Fox cyclops of the MCU. A punching bag for other characters. Hulk was nerfed for the MCU. He got pieced up by Thanos without the stones and can't heal when he has a healing factor so strong it makes him seem bullet proof. Comic hulk healed near instantly after having his skin and muscle flayed leaving him a grotesque skeleton. However, Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets. Maybe Banner Hulk made him weak because he isn't angry anymore.

I heard that it is healing just not as fast as if he was burned. Since both the stones and Hulk produce Gamma radiation it would make sense that he isn't healing as fast but is still healing.

hulk is the one character in the MCU i thought was always done dirty. hes so damn misused ALL the time, especially in infinity war and endgame. The fact we only saw him fist fight thanos once and it went the way it did is just sad. no retribution in endgame or anything. in fact, i cant recall him doing shit during the endgame final battle. hes massively powerful and just always sidelined or very misused :/

As long as banner remains in control he should have to carry the burden of the injury. When Hulk finally emerges or he truly comes to terms with accepting the hulk as a part of him instead of something he needs to control, then he should be allowed to heal.

Technically the hulk can regenerate his whole body, in a comic he regenerates his whole body from the skeleton and not only that, many times to come back to life from death it's like creating a new body (it's not easy to explain) if cut the arm can regenerate it and I don't know why they show a permanent injury on the hulk because literally nothing can do this on the hulk, the hulk is not like a human or a mortal character, he has the most powerful healing factor in the marvel universe and okay that is so in the comics but diminishing the potential of the character in this way is ridiculous and annoying, already we will never be able to see another movie about the hulk in the mcu then they make him a comic shoulder turning him into a flat character (when in reality the hulk is one of the best characters ever conceived in the history of comics, in fact I warmly invite anyone to recover the oldest narrative arcs of peter david on the hulk and the most recent ones of al ewing with immortal hulk because they are giants of marvel) and not only that, they also make him weak ... In the comics it is repeated several times that if the hulk were not held in check by banners it would be the end of everything and for this reason anyone in the comics at least a little fears him, (this is because the more the hulk gets angry, the more he enhances all his abilities and without any limits and the "savage hulk" is a concentrate of anger that cannot be consumed as it is literally anger made in flesh and blood, if anything it can only be powered or managed by banner) the MCU hulk is ridiculous, it can't even heal from such "ridiculous" damage (for a mortal being it's not but for a character like the hulk it shouldn't be anything serious)

Hulk's healing factor doesn't just "rival" Wolverine's or Deadpool's. It is far stronger. Hulk's healing factor is the most powerful in the Marvel Universe by a long margin.

Im actually quite pissed how they treated Hulk. Some things should stay more comic book accurate. really hope someone will fix this mess up and we'll get world breaker to compensate for the lost time with the Hulk.

I think Hulk will have his arm healed through Hulk transforming or taking control of his body.

I'm guessing he will try to heal himself with more/new serum and some gamma treatment, which will go wrong and he becomes more hulky. Maestro or whatever.

I just thought about something hear me out it would have been better to have Thor do the snap. The reason is because one he could've survived it and two it would of been way better for him because one he loses his arm in the comics currently and has a arm made out of uru metal so it would have slightly more comic accurate compare to the hulk having a mess up arm doesn't sit well with alot of people plus it would have been a great way for Thor to redeem himself my opinion tho

The Hulk is supposed to get stronger the angrier he gets. There is no stated upper limits of his strength and durability. Him being permanently damaged is not the Hulk at all.

i think that its like turning off your pc and restarting it to fix the issue. Maybe banner turned himself back to original form to heal his arm with some modern medical technology and turn back to hulk again to completely fix it or completely regenerate it.

I love the Infinity Saga. But the Hulk has YET to be "Avenged" due to the damage cause by previous writers/studios.

Its all because of the rights issue, they were trying to trash the character so people wouldn't really like him and they would be able to save themselves money. Logical business choice, but very sad for TRUE fans of the comics to see the character devolve so much. 😔

Yeah, having him go rampaging hulk would hopefully have him grow his arm back to normal which of course would be totally awesome to see as his healing factor as it's always does repair any damage inflicted upon him!!

I want them to heal his arm nobody wants to see the super strong indestructible hulk injured plus it always bothered my how the thing was emitting gamma radiation but he was still hurt you would think he would have either got supercharged or he would have healed quicker.

I think it would fit character if savage hulk comes out for a fight, Gets mad at the arm or the fight or both. Gets angrier and angrier making him strong and stronger until in the critical moment (like every comic book character) He gets so angry it heals, or even better but less pg13 (so maybe in a deadpool movie cameo) He rips it off beats the other guy to death looks over at his missing arm and screams at it till it grows back.

I hope the arm heals I don't like it being permanent it takes away what the hulk is it would be fine if the arm heals but it's still scard then the hulk is still strong but just has scars as a reminder not to give up

I think it would be more interesting if he had to live with the injury, having it heal takes away from the impact of the snap. When it’s permanently damaged you can visually see all he sacrificed to bring everyone back.

When I think of the snap I think of the Hellraiser film. Getting all of the stones solves the puzzle box and during the 'Snap' the person doing it does not have just a blink of an eye to decide but a long torture to prove to the stones that they really want what they ask. In the end the stones take a pound of flesh as the price. Maybe that is why Bruce said he tried to bring back Natisha but couldn't as the price for that would have been to high by letting some or all of the dusted not return.

Honestly I would like it to be a bit of damage that slowly heals over time as the next hulk movie progresses. And with as the movie progresses, Hulk finds his confidence again to become the savage hulk again, but that's me.

Endgame was trash, for so many reasons. This is just one of the main ones.

"rivals deadpool and wolverines healing factor" bud, the hulks healing factor is the single strongest in comics. he doesnt need 1 drop of blood, hes an energy based being pretty much. and he can regen in seconds... so long as the one below all exists, hulk will exist. and so long as the one above all exist, the one below must.

This could be the way Marvel can bring back the Savage Hulk or even The Immortal Hulk.

Listening to the Russo’s reason and ideas for hulks arm just enrages me as a hulk fan. We shouldn’t let the guys who ruined the hulk the most dictate his future by having his arm permanently damaged and irreversible. Banner should just hulk out and that’s how he heals !

The interviews you're quoting are OLD NEWS from after Endgame. The Russos and Markus & McFeely treated the Hulk like shit. They no longer have any say over the characters. We had no promised story arc to replace a solo film on screen. Marvel failed the characters, Ruffalo, and the fans. In Shang-Chi, Banner looked like the arm was at least 90% recovered. The sling was the only indicator something had happened. If the next writer wants it completely healed, it will be. He's not "The Winter Hulk." We don't need that. What we do need is for Marvel to buy the distribution rights back from Universal and hire a creative team that really gives a damn about the characters.

5:50 Scarlet Witch, Franklin Richards, The Phoenix Force, The One Above All, etc. Doctor Strange is pretty powerful himself as well and has mentioned that he now has the power to heal his hands but chooses not to. There are many extremely powerful figures in the MCU who could pull off such a thing. They're figure something out, they're good at randomly making new rules.

I could see if the physical damage to the right arm persisted due to continued emotional or psychological damage brought on by hulk's/Banner's inability to snap back Natasha. As if he can't let go (with his right arm) of losing her. It could be that he will make a full recovery once he learns to let go of the pain of losing Natasha & embrace the the value she brought into his life & accepting her sacrifice.

In the comics Hulk healed his whole body when Vector blew off all his skin and muscle and they are saying this little injury is permanent. Just shows you the MCU is complete garbage. They want to over power "certain " characters (Captain Marvel), and destroy the real power houses like the Hulk .

My theory is that for the same reason Hulk gets stronger as his rage increases this suggests that the rage affects his physics workings. Since Hulk has become passive in the merging of Banner and the Hulk there is no rage to kick into overdrive his healing factor to be back up there like wolverines or deadpools.

Hulk has regenerative powers. So it may take a while but it should come back to normal.

Maybe he had to turn back into Banner so when he makes his next hulk transformation he'll be healed as the hulk.

Since the Hulk is my favorite character, I would love to see the total heal of his arm.

If they decide to bring bacc Hulks n Banners right arm instead of thinking of something convoluted it should be made that once Hulf n Banners mind separate the Hulk goes into a rage at the sight of his arm n rips it off to fully regenerate properly

A healing factor is a healing factor, no damage should be permanent, unless they want to give Hulk PTSD, which would probably make him angry easier making him even more unstoppable

I think they can do both, that is dealing with a permanently damaged arm and ultimately fixing it in some sort of Hulk Hulking out senario. Maybe banner has figured out how to transform in smart Hulk at will, but at some point goes fully hatstand into original Hulk on complete a random warpath. and gets his arm back

If he just trades his sanity and really hulk out the arm will be healed again
