Endgame Gear’s OP1 mouse was already a great choice, but the addition of a faster microcontroller means all the great tech they’ve already developed for the OP1 remains, but a new 8,000 hertz polling rate is added. This mouse really impressed me, so let me show you around it, and then explain why. Endgame gear is no stranger to making great mice - the XM1 being possibly their most famous. The OP1 itself is a pretty versatile mouse. It’s primarily meant for claw grips, thanks to the fairly tall sides allowing your fingers plenty of space to grip to, although I did find it comfortable with a more palm grip style too. Interestingly, Endgame does include some stick-on textured rubber pads for the sides, so if you don’t find the matte coating sufficient, you can stick them on too. Personally I left them off, especially since this thing only weighs 50 grams, making it incredibly light and easy to flick around - and to hold onto as well.

Actually like the application design it's old school but also refreshing and no bullshit like all of the nonsense over bloated mouse / controller / keyboard software with overly ridiculous designs that are made to look pretty but work half the time or are buggy / clunky to use(and look more dated than this does imo like mid/early 2000s). Really hate the way modern UI design has gone.

iCUE and coolermaster software is garbage Glorious is meh Logitech's old one worked about 1000 times better than the new one Razer is meh also So this simple ui is incredibly welcome

Ugly, basic-looking software that fully works is preferable to flashy crapware that just ruins an otherwise good product.

It's a 2MB exe file that you can throw on a USB drive, no need to install it or have it running in the background. That's what we wanted, very minimalistic, no bullshit.

100%, i'd prefer browser based like wooting and newer finalmouse mice tbh but this is still much better then ROG's crash fest known as Armoury Crate & Corsair's disgusting iCUE app

Another great thing about this mouse is: IT DOESN'T HAVE UGLY RGB CRAP ALL OVER IT! 😁 Take that, ugly Razer, Corsair, Logitech, SolidSteel... Oh and I like the plain looking app, so refreshing after dealing with Corsair iCUE for years! Because gawd that iCUE has a lot of screenclutter BS...
