How to use chains of 3 and 4 sixteenth notes to create a polyrhythmic engine that generates perpetual groove. This is a great starting point for creating beats, tracks, jams in the style of Louis Cole, Knower, JD Beck, Domi, Anderson Paak, and other artists that place rhythm, groove and syncopation at the forefront of the music.

Highly recommend to new songwriters/ producers: Do NOT use midi chord packs ! These things seem like quick little hacks to make cool sounding chord progressions - but that's exactly why they should be avoided. Using chord packs will stunt your growth and make you reliant on chord progressions that other people have found for you.

Here is a tip for new producers: Don't let people online tell you how you should make your music. Do whatever the heck you think works and have fun with it, if you wanna learn you will learn eventually. :)

this is GODLY man. really aprecciate putting the chord names in the secondary dominant and tritonal sub part. this is textbook. the fat bass layered with synth sounds SICK as well and that dry asf drum kit oh my god

man this is dope. i love how you gave the 2nd doms six 16ths notes each and the melo is perfect. i find myself learning bebop language and practicing over standards but this is way more interesting and soulful. theres no "hardcore soloing skill" involved but it's doin more for me than just practicing or writing "jazz" (i dont mean the artform, i mean something specific)

This actually sounds not that sophisticated than you explain it. Mainly because of the 4/4 backbeat. But I really don't understand the 11 chord rhythm. Is it changing every three 16th notes?

I mean, there will always be people wanting shortcuts out there and it is more and more normal for producers to use samples a lot. It goes faster and works really good to create a song fast. To really do it all manually takes time, effort and skill. Which many doesn't want to do
