That pine tree to the right of the hobbit home looks strikingly similar to the bark of pine trees in California, where im from and other parts of the West. The pine tree im thinking right off the bat is the Ponderosa Pine. If you put your nose inside the fissures of the bark on a ponderosa you can smell vanilla cream inside! Very nice!
