Owen’s analogy with personal growth when he said most people just want a “nicer” jail rather than to get out of jail hit really deep. Now taking an audit in my life and seeing where I’m really just half assing it and not being fully committed to going to the next level. Thank you Owen for sharing and giving your life to this content. You are really changing our lives.

Finally took the plunge after years of following Owen on KZfaq and bought his (and Julien's) most recent courses. After all this time I still had the fear that somehow his teaching is "too true to be true" and even that the courses might be a complete scam. How is my brain still telling me this despite years of meditation practice!!! These Free Tour insights are taken to another level and are built on an absolute wealth of knowledge, insight and care. I already feel transcendent but now I need to become the transcendent executor :) No excuses!

Ok! I wished I finished watching this days ago. I spent a whole day yesterday being "stuck in my head" and in a "loop" about past stuff. You described it perfectly, like walking around and there's beautiful trees and things around you and all you see/ feel is s**t (when it's not!) Wasted a whole day. Never again.

The last half hour of this video is the really powerful stuff. The thing with motivational talks like this is that it's easy for feel energised and propelled in the right direction immediately after watching it. What's more of a challenge is keeping this up and not sliding back into your bad old ways. This is the sort of video to rewatch every 3 months. Until the sound advice in it is integrated into your life and becomes a core part of who and what you are.

Excellent as always I was super locked in. I was one of those people who was basically gone from drugs and it's taken two years of hard work (good diet, books, exercise etc). My focus was gone, I was a zombie and there was noone home mentally; everyday was a mental loop on doing anything to numb out or get high. It's amazing people like you, Jordan Peterson etc etc who put out key information for people like me (traumatized to the core) to have any chance of coming out of that dark satanic state I used to be STUCK in because coming back to reality where I can see and appreciate beauty and feel good emotions again has been beyond difficult. I couldn't have done it without your help and my dad who's the most loving caring person in the world. I wish I could give back to you Owen Cook and I hope you are able to come to Milwaukee sometime there's a Westin down the block from me lol. Peace and Love BRO

Always appreciate your content so much man. I look at you and see the way your face moves with expression and the cadence of your voice and your wit and free flow energy and I have a sense of longing for something I feel I used to embody much more. Have many others here experienced the feeling/realisation that "spiritual" work has somehow made you more self conscious and somewhat ruined parts of your personality. Like it almost made me too passive and caring about my impact on others whereas when I was a teenager I gave so many less shits what others thought or how I affected them so I was actually being more myself in a funny catch 22.

After 6 years working at a Goverment organization, I've recently got offered a position at a UN Mission in Geneva. Intstantly, it will triple my income and guarantee a secure future (SS, retirement, etc.). When the offer came, I was blown away, for 2 weeks living in pure elation. Now I feel this might be the single biggest mistake in my life. It will lock me in a path I don't resonate with deep down, within a sysem with a perverted logic. This offer is a once-in-a-lifetime step up, but ironically is leading me to jump out of this wagon as fast as I can and start something new. It ticks many external boxes, but leaves out an essential internal box that is connected to my higher purpose. Seeing this video and mulling over its many (many) concepts, is helping me to pay more and more attention to that higher purpose - it is now what I feel must be addressed, even if at the expense of a secured future. Thank you!

Thank you, Owen. I learned a lot from you in this video and it helps to put some new perspective on things. For the part with being mindful, I find that definitely useful too. At the same time I found that it is good to not obsess over specific thoughts that upset you, and to instead see them just as a thought that comes up (which are in fact just tools that you can either use or not, like clouds coming up), then accept yourself as you are, allow yourself to feel into your body as a feeling/body-sensation, breathe into it and let yourself release back into wholeness. The idea behind this is that we tend to open different kind of boxes of thoughts when feeling different body sensations. But this doesn't mean that the thought is in the right box. By breathing into the body-sensation and releasing them, and exploring the space between body-sensation and thought, thoughts can begin to lose their grip. I like the 6(in)-3(hold)-6(out)-3(hold) breathing technique of Julien very much for this, just with the adjustment of breathing into the whole body-sensation itself as just a body sensation while really feeling it to the fullest and then coming back to a place of stillness after breathing out. When there's the reflex to breathe in you're flooded with love and you just let the love in. It's not a ripping out of thoughts, but a warm embrace of yourself. One could image it like when a kid falls down, and the mother is hugging it and by the very act of love things begin to heal. When someone is too identified with their thoughts, the image of "sweating out" thoughts, as a natural process of healing can also help, so they can confront them and feel into body-sensations as pure body-sensations without judgement or interpretation and allow to release them. Tapping Solution can also help with it to calm the nervous system down while confronting challenging material and release emotional charge. I think when people are in equilibrium, which is their natural state, they automatically like to do things that help one another to share love, inner stillness and conciousness, because this is a self-healing mechanism and they just want others to heal too in a way, even if it's just a silly joke, some words, ecouragement or whatever. If someone is owning a car and he puts the steering wheel in place of an actual wheel and the wheel as a steering wheel, there's no wonder if the car is having problems. When the things come back again to their original place, one realize that he/she supported most of his/her own problems actively all the time and feels some kind of relief. I really like that you make your experiences the healthy way which is sustainable and I think this is amazing! All the best

@@OwenCookFreeTour no prob man! I think in the end it's just about what is healthy for oneself and for others and what feels good short- and long-term, otherwise we just end up in situations like the middle ages with total contraction and messed up :D Don't know if this helps but my father was kind of a fundamentalist and was very forceful in his ideology and parenting which created some damage back then and took quite some time for me and my family to recover from and take a step back. Of course I still love him, but he would have prevented a lot of pain if he just sticked to the message of love and leave everything else to the circumstances of life. Healthy expression of love is part of ventral vagal system (a place of connection and safety) and includes all people. For me personally, everyone can do whatever he/she wants, as long as all are fine

Interesting. Your talk of people wanting to just be in a more comfortable prison. Reminds me of Cypher from the 1st (and imo best) Matrix. He had been woken up by Morpheus, shown the truth of the world they lived in but couldn't handle it. He preferred to make a deal with their enemy to return him to his prison, asking that his mind be wiped but that he be a rich man this time around. But a gilded cage is still a cage. And no one is richer than someone who is truly free. Thanks Owen

Love this. Would love to hear more about how you learned to love people so much- even while being hyper aware of all of our human flaws. How do you maintain such a deep trust in our higher selves? Many people would save a dog before a human for example. This general disdain is sustained by the ceaseless wars, crime, hate, etc. Do we simply focus on the positive to love people more? Just some curious/reflective thoughts. ✌️ peace 💛🌟

I was kind of a psychopath/sociopath I met an empathic alchemist, I thought she was a psychopath until I woke up. Everything you said on the psychopath this was me and spot on. From there I think I went a little woo woo spiritual guy for a bit and now I’d say I’m how ever you put it “transcendent executor” or like just finding that sweet balance. It’s good and yeah I can see peoples pains and strengths and focus, their paradigms and wanna help for them where as back then I’d wanna help either to reinforce the idea that I’m a boss or to gain power over them to feel powerful, false reward (fear based love) can’t have both, that’s just an illusion.

It's actually weird to hear Owen read something written out to a crowd lol ... goes to show how much the dude does free flowing improvisational speeches. Kinda crazy, really.

Lately when I'm at work, I've been making noise about the coworkers I have I do construction traffic control, I would say 80 percent of the people I work with are bad druggies or felons and I looped on this all day. I'm at the beggiing of the video

Owen Cook is like Gary Vee. The guys you know that they can obviously make more money teaching company executives what they know, but they would rather share the knowledge to people who are on ground level trying to get up.

Hi Owen, One day not too far from now, I am going to come just to see you live. I've been following you since 2012 (its 10 year anniversary wooo-hoo) and always wanted to come and meet you no matter even if this is going to charge me 10k worth of $. Even just a glimpse of seeing you IRL will be a proof to me that yes I made my dream come true. As of now, it is a far stretch for my pocket, but I am working on it. "That's my aim" -Manan from India. PS: 10 years of gaining different perspectives :)

1 hr … ❤️ your explanation of Woo Woo versus Executor. I’ve been ossilating between these two modalities for the past 20 years and have never heard anyone nail the problem with both like you just did here Owen!! Now I see an executor who can tap into Source is the sweet spot.
