Surfside and Dockside makeup the Endless Summer Resort- Universal's newest value resort. On my channel I have full reviews of both resorts as well as the complete dining review of the dining at Dockside's Pier 8 Market. In this video, we'll cover everything you need to know about the dining at the Beach Break Cafe, the dining location at Surfside. While this is the smaller of the Endless Summer Resorts, we actually prefer this dining location to the Pier 8 Market. They are similar when it comes to options but we've found that the food tastes fresher and is overall better here at Surfside. We've had mixed reviews at Dockside but we have yet to be disappointed with a meal at Surfside. If you're a foodie, you may take that into consideration when deciding which resort to stay at. Because Dockside is bigger by about 3 times, their dining hall is serving 3 times the guests, meaning they're making a lot more food ahead of time and it sometimes unfortunately sits in hot boxes for some time before it is purchased. At Surfside, since they're not as busy, they tend to make most of the food to order. While this means waiting a little bit longer for your food, it also means you're getting hot, fresh food that you're more likely going to enjoy. This is one of the biggest reasons we choose Surfside over Dockside.
