Same thing. Pull your spark plug. Turn off the fuel. And let it crank.

Most tanks are sealed, so you shouldn't have water in it. Just the carburetor bowl.

For me it turns milky like a latte. If it sits and separates maybe it could look silver? Definitely change the oil right away. Shouldn't damage the engine. It's fairly small amounts of water. I think roller bearings are an advantage. I hate to think what water would do to plain bearings

I'm not sure. You'd have to be really careful because if the water doesn't come out the exhaust valve, you'll be forcing it by the rings. In my experience, the exhaust is what gives you issues because you clear cylinder and then it just runs back in from the exhaust.

If it was fully submerged you have most likely fried the ECU as they are defo not waterproof and wont work or even break if wet. Maybe change the oil check the fuel and drain the cylinder and the exhaust, dry the airfilter. And maybe dry out all the electronics. If it wont start you either have no spark, broken ECU or water still in the engine. Sorry if it is or was the ECU as not sure how expensive they are. Thats why i prefer older bikes

Before you start buying stuff, you need to check it step by step. Pull the spark plug and roll it down hill in second gear and clear the water. Check the fuses. Make sure the exhaust and intake are clear of water. Once you know there is no water in it, see if the engine will turn over with electric start. Check spark. The ECU would be the last thing to check. Basically eliminate everything else

Yeah, I won’t go in the riverbed without a spark plug socket.
