What is the practical difference between this design and the regular vent, to make it energy efficient? I've seen it before on Amazon but I couldn't figure out the actual benefits

the damper is gravity closing. no air infiltration. the other ones get stuck open.

TBD. Don't have a scooter right now. If I could rent one for the time period, then perhaps.
