You'll learn about Japanese phonetics, such as pronunciation, rhythm, pitch accent, intonation and so on. Those knowledge will help you sound natural when speaking Japanese.
Hi, here's another walk and talk video.
You can learn Japanese while you're watching the street in Tokyo.
My daughter's painting was displayed at the National Art Center, Tokyo in Roppongi. So I went there to see it. And I recorded the way to and inside the museum. It's an impressive building.
Also, a cafe inside the museum is a cafe that appeared in the movie, "Your Name(君の名は)." You might recognize it from the movie.
A part of an English translation is missing at 7:26.
Here's the correction.
映画『君の名は』をみたことがありますか?
Have you seen the movie, "Your Name"?
I hope you enjoy walking with me!

When I lived in Japan back in the day I used to go to Roppongi quite bit and went to the various clubs, including a salsa bar and danced there. I only went there once but I had a great time. When I visit Japan to see my daughter next year, I will slip away for a night and visit my old haunts and see if I can find anyone I know. Oh, the memories!

Thank you for bringing us along to the art center, it's always great to practice listening with you like this 😄 I have seen 君の名は but I didn't remember this café until you showed the picture. I am reading a manga about 書道 and have learned about some of the different styles. And often, the works are apparently old copies of Chinese works 😮 Very interesting to read about, and it has a sweet story (とめはねっ!)
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally Жыл бұрын
I've seen 君の名は twice, but I couldn't recall which part of the anime it had appeared until I looked it up on the net💦 It takes time to be good at 書道. とめ and はね are so difficult that you can't write beautifully if you're not trained. I've never read とめはね, but the manga looks interesting😀

Oh! Fumi Sensei, there is a subtitle missing at 7:26 but it is ok I understood it and was forced to listen and translate! I have not seen that movie yet actually😊 This gave me an idea… perhaps you could do 2 versions of the one video and collect them in playlist for practice? I.e. -Translation and Kana subtitles like here -Only Kana subtitles And then eventually I would practice with just audio by looking away :) Either way don’t worry. I’m proud I was able to translate that bit. Learning is fun 😄 Your videos are calming and make me feel like this is achievable and I know I can do this 🙏🏻
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally Жыл бұрын
Thank you for letting me know the error. I added that in the description. And thank you for the suggestion! I don't think I can upload the 2 versions of one video because I'm afraid that will reduce the overall performance of my videos on KZfaq, which might lead them showing my videos even less than now. But, I'm sure to make this kind of videos more, so you can practice more. Thank you for your comment😊
