Yeah I put my 1st kit together.and took a first run loosing compressoion the next time I tried to run it again. Very informative IMPORTANT stuff I don’t think they tell you. I didn’t hear about greasing and checking for moisture problems in the proper way till your video. Very appreciative.

You have to take it all apart anyway and look inside the cylinder to make sure there's no burrs you can even port out the holes a little bit

The little China doll is a loose tolerance assembly that is lubricated by gas and oil a reed valve and a zinc carburetor are a must but few ever mention these two items..

I used to use the thick lithium grease but found that the spray white lithium works better and lasts longer. And it doesn't get tossed off after the first few rides. Instead of grease I would of just used some hot glue to water tight the magneto compartment. Your just making a mess bubba.

100% put Loctite on that crank gear because I have done to these kits and both times it was the first thing that happened was that screw came loose in the Woodruff key snapped

I've had to re-adjust it from time to time, but I got it dialed in. Yes it slipped at first after this, but not because of grease. I did put too much grease on, but it didn't cause the clutch to slip, just a big mess inside the clutch cover.

@@flyingsky1559 Late reply, but if you adjust the flower nut on your clutch plate, you can reduce slipping that way.

Oh yeah those motors come with Alan bolts instead of regular bolts much better

Look the magneto needs air exchange it's a moving part like a fan it will use blowby should use a one-way air exchange like a pvc valve on a car

they do put their bolts on too tight even the main bolts on the cylinder I would take out and put them only finger tight with loctite heat expands those are metal rods aluminum motor

Who told you that you cannot run high performance parts on a new motor when breaking it in because you can so put the good head back on and use the good carburetor back on lmfao @ your videos

@@MBOFOYH no way. I built 2 of the bbr stage 4 kits, broke them in with the upgraded head,carb cdi,,and muffler. they run great

@@eduardodiaz5762 I road it a year and a half ( winter to ) had no problems but did have to replace the magneto because I got it wet. sold that bike and I'm breaking 2 more bikes in with the bbr 4 stage motors.

@@richardprevost8187 a year doesnt tell me the exact mileage, just the extend of it's period of use..my magneto only got replaced once, I use the Battery terminal spray that helps it not corrosion, spray the magneto every few months(3months), and I ran my bike heavily, Ran and Harshest Sunny days, Magnto still looks rust free as the day I installed, just a tad bit oily, and it still works after rebuild. PS. That one time I did replace it I didn't use the Battery terminal oil spray, and it was riding it on a very stormy rainy day, and ever since using the spray I've actually rode in the heaviest of Rains, where wind speeds picked up, Magneto never failed after spraying.

It is a good idea to put a little high-temp grease around the drive gear and clutch, but there is absolutely no reason you can't start your engine off with these so called, "high performance" parts right away. There are many things stated in this video that are false and misinformation, the author needs to research more before speaking so authoritatively about things he clearly does not completely understand.

That is not true who ever told you that is wrong it does not hurt the cylinder thats the stupid shit I've heard. Put your good head on . & its unnecessary to grease the clutch gear all you going to do is make your clutch slip
