Hut ab, wirklich toll und detailliert erklärt. Nun weiß ich was auf mich zukommt 😊oder besser zukommen kann. Habe mir zur Beschäftigungstherapie (Frührentner) einen alten 2000er gekauft an dem so einiges zu machen ist. Da sind deine Videos von Vorteil genau wie die von "Smart Erklärt" und eine echte Hilfe gegenüber WIS und anderen Büchern.

Do you use salt on the roads there? Lots of corrosion. My Smart has been around Australia done over 100K. Head Gasket Gone. Thanks For Vid

Vielen Dank für die genaue Anleitung. Zum Schluss hättest Du noch einen kleinen Rundgang um den Motor machen können und den Motor mit allem drumherum erklären können. Die ganzen Videos von Dir finde ich sehr informativ und nützlich.

hallo jo, danke! eigentlich hatte ich wie im teil zwei ganz am ende noch eine kleine erweiterung mit etwas erklärung angefügt, aber die hab ich wohl nicht mit hochgeladen. deine anregung nehme ich gerne auf und werde in den nächsten videos an ende (wie bei "motoreinbau, steuerkette und turbo") anfügen. danke das du mir sagst was dir bei meinen video noch fehlt.

One suggestion: if you haven't done it already, you can wire brush, degrease and paint the rear axle and suspension components. They will definitely look apart sprayed black. 👍

hello vic, Unfortunately that would be short-lived. because everything was sandblasted like sand and stones on the street. I thought of powder coatings rather.

I know this is off topic to the video, just woundering if you've ever replaced a inner tie rod, how do you remove it as I'm at that stage and Im not sure how, never worked on one of these cars still now

hello vic, you have to expand it, then you can pull off the cable with a rotary motion. unfortunately I have a lot of work at the moment. but I hope the new video will be ready in the next 1-2 weeks. because you can see how I expand the ignition coil. then just pull on the cable and turn and it's off.may I ask why you want to do that?

@@hannes-fixed Hello Hannes, Thank you for the detailed explanation! I want to replace the ignition leads as they are old (made in 2003). One of the lower ignition leads had a small crack in the cable. I already replaced the lower ones. Thank you! I will wait for the new video. Best regards, Vic.

Hi, i have some trouble reaching the two central engin mount screws without lowering the engine alot, how do you solve the central engine mount? Thank you

hello coxboy, when you have loosened the two rear brackets (can be seen in the video here 2:40 + 3:10 ) then you can lower the motor so far. then you can also reach the third bracket in the middle. Prima Anleitung, danke Dir, Hannes. :-) Derzeit arbeite ich am Ausbau des Smart-450-Motors und hänge noch an zwei Punkten: a) Einen der großen Wasserschläuche im Unterboden konnte ich leicht abziehen, aber der andere große Schlauch sitzt gnadenlos fest. b) Wie komme ich an die Stromanschlüsse von LiMa und Anlasser? Hast Du den Motor etwas abgesenkt?

hallo frank, entschuldige bitte das ich mich erst heute melde, ich hatte vorher leider keine zeit. ja es kann schon sein das der schlauch recht fest sitzt, ich würde ihn mit einem großen schlitzschraubenziehe rings um lösen und etwas abhebeln. aber vorsichtig sonst reist er ein und du must ihn ersetzten. zur lima +anlasser, ja ich habe die drei motorhalterungen gelöst und ihn dann abgelassen. weil sonst kommst du nicht an die schrauben. das kannst du ab 4:23 sehen. ich wünsche dir viel erfolg
