How to start engine when have enough voltage on battery but doesnt turn over starter to engine. Use plier and touch the connectors of the solenoid starter.

Touched three times with regular pliers. It sparked but I couldn’t keep it all the way like that. Tried to start it with the key again and it started. Nice troubleshooting!!! Thank you brother for sharing your knowledge!!!!

Thank you so much for this video I couldn’t start my 2015 cascadia and I took it to shop blain brothers in clear water mn and they couldn’t figure out how to start it and I tow it to 67 miles to my yard I didn’t know where would I take it next and I come cross your video and it sure worked for I got my truck to start thanks to you

Right on, yes I was also far away in Dawson creek British Columbia Canada and saved a roadside mechanic this way as well. My old employer explained over the phone and was no video so I thought I make one.

I used this way and it starts but the shop doesn't know what caused it ill just change the whole stater! Thanks someone asking the same question I was asking! What was the problem! Great job guys!

In the end the company mechanic replaced the solenoid

I did this, engine started, but it sounds like the cruize control is on and turning off wont help. Also all the guages are down and fuel paddle wont work.

It’s easier if you take your wire one run it from Starter celloid to your alternator the hot side take touch to the hot Cable crank no Sparks by passes all switches

It was a bad solenoid. Nothing to do with the battery.

Not needed for me. But Wow great video. Saved people money on tow bills for sure. Also if your batteries are too low to start truck. U can run the APU to charge batteries enough to crank.(If U have APU)
