To quote Tinashe, "you gotta play what is in front of you." While to like their playing style or not is a subjective matter, the fact remains that they made it to the final with fair and square results. And for that I strongly think that they deserve to be in the final. Yes they have faced opponents who on paper are weaker than the ones faced by Spain, but those small teams did show their strength with their performance against the stronger teams. While they had undoubtedly had their moments of luck, to say that they are purely lucky may be a bit undermining. You can't have those luck moments without prvoiding some quality performance.

The reason the first half worked well is the Dutch CB’s gave us loads of room as they held back due to lack of pace. As soon as they changed this up second half we were back to going square and back to Pickford until Watkins came on and actually ran into space behind.
