People need to realize...HOME matches our fans are one of the worst in the world, because of overcharging and commercializing ect...But when we are at an AWAY match or an international competition, we are up there in the top 5 without a doubt, anybody who doesn't think that is either deluded, Scottish or just hates us...so Scottish.

Goes for club support too sometimes i notice some fans create a better atmosphere away from home like man utd they have fantastic away fans but at home the atmosphere is crap (Not all the time though)

I was there and it was memorable to see Rooney score against Ukraine. That game eliminated Ukraine from Euro 2012... England fans took over Donetsk including the Liverpool Hotel down the street!

I'm not a fan of drums and that at football matches in England, however I thought the France game (when they were banned) sounded quite quiet and dull.. The away end looked absolutely superb against Ukraine and Sweden and to be honest I think the band helps.. Band or no band, we're still the best.

Yes that's true when it comes to going away and making noise you cant beat the working class English but when we are at home most of our home competitions are full of tourists and middle class England fans because the working class cant afford to go the home matches when they have familys to look after and bills to pay. England till i die.

As someone else mentioned about this video, the Ring of Fire is a good example... sounds shit until that drum kicks in. I don't actually mind the drum, they need to fuck them shite fucking trumpets off though. However, they can keep any instrument far, far away from Goodison.

I thing the England fans would have been singing whether the band was there or not. I find the band annoying when watching on the box, I can't imagine how tedious they are in the ground. A drum isn't so bad but come on...trumpets?!

Its strange becuase germany for example their club fans are so good but their international fans are so bad where as england international fans are so good probs the best in world where as club support could be better although some english clubs do have great fans too

I agree that you lot are "maybe" in the top 5 (at a push...) but at number 5 at least. As far as our support and passion we outrank you anyday. We intend on making international friendships with our opposition and have a friendly atmosphere anywhere we go, where as the majority of your support are simply obnoxious casual thugs causing bother where ever you go.

We don't have a hooligan problem in terms of international football no, Old firm fans are the only ones that put us to shame, but they have massive fan bases all over Britain. Scotland has a more wider reputation of being friendly and courteous when visiting other nations. When we have the fans of opposition nations applauding our national anthem at home and away we get the ultimate respect. You lot will never get that same respect from anyone, you get the opposite treatment and rightly so.

Goals, and wins help. The fans were great against France up until FRance equalised then much like the game it went a bit dull. All the band would have added would have been a constant rendition of Self Preservation Society. Shite.

The band is naff and I don't think the the band creates the atmosphere at all...if anything it dilutes it. Continuous trumpetting along to the great escape and the self preservation society is not my idea of a good atmsophere. It's crap and we should get rid.
