In this video I will share 7 techniques to practice English speaking at home. English speaking practice is very important for students who want to speak english fluently and confidently. If you don't have anyone to speak English with, these ways will help you to start speaking English.
Students often ask me - Kate, I understand everything you say, but I can’t speak English. What should I do? And today I will share with you 7 methods to practice speaking skills so that you can solve this problem. Every technique is different, so you can choose which one you like the most.
Consistency is key in improving your English speaking skill. The tips I've given will work, but you have to use them every day. #EnglishLessonsWithKate
Here's a simple plan: Spend at least 10 minutes every day practicing. One day, listen to a short clip and try to say it just like they do. The next day, read a short article out loud and then tell it in your own words.
If you have extra time some days, practice a bit more. The main thing is to do something every day. As you get better, try talking to others in English. And if you make mistakes? Don't worry, it's a part of learning. Most people will understand. Keep practicing and you'll keep getting better!

Hi Kate! useful lesson! "Don't take it too seriously" Kate, have you ever noticed when you say the word "Something" you always drop the "m"? I have been following you for a while and also noticing that you've always dropped the 'm' in the word 'soMething' then it becomes "suh thing" instead of "sʌm thing." It does not sound that weird when you speak. Here's the tip. If it's hard to pronounce, you just break it down and say it slowly when you confidently say it then speed up. As a learner like you, I just want to help you to speak correctly. And I'm not here to judge you. So I hope you find this helpful. Keep up the good work!
