This phone call says all you need to know about Lori Shallow. She is remorseless, cold, unhinged, evasive, a liar and guilty asf!

The amount of gaslighting this woman does. It's textbook.

Her narcissism comes through loud and clear. My heart breaks for Colby

Did I hear her right? Did she say that Tylee, JJ, and her are the only ones that know what happened? Not Alex or Chad? That could be taken as an admission of guilt right there, if I heard her right.

When Colby said he would have taken the kids in one second, she replies "Everybody says that" with such sarcasm, its spine chilling. Also, good one on Colby referring to Chad as Peter Griffin. I feel so sad for him, I cannot even imagine the pain.

That laugh is the creepiest thing I have ever heard.

She has no remorse in her voice. How does a mother not show empathy, remorse, compassion for her children.

It is so difficult to stand up to gaslighting from a loved one, and this is on another level. She is vile, this is soul-crushing.

Lori really thinks she is a hero for taking care of JJ and Tylee just oh so long before she murdered them. She really truly seems to think that the fact that she was a mother to them (before she murdered them) is so above and beyond, fantastic, heroic, out of the ordinary, super hero like action that the whole world should applaud her for and maybe give her an award for all the years she didn't murder them. She is infuriating.

And Chad does look like Peter Griffin… a real family guy.

Colby- I don’t know if you’ll ever read this, but my heart is just shattered for you and the loss of your whole family, including your mother. I hope you know how much you are loved and supported. I can’t imagine the pain you are suffering through and I just wish there was something that any of us could do to ease your suffering. Please know there are so many who are rallying behind you. Hopefully you can find peace and healing through all of this trauma. My love and prayers sincerely go out to you 🙏🏻💗😢

If that's not a confession, I don't know what is! It's both what she says: "nobody was there" and "they know the truth and I know the truth and we're the ONLY people that do", that sounds as if she's saying she killed them herself. Also, it's what she doesn't say, if she believed all that zombie crap, why not tell Colby? Why not say "I saved them", why not be proud of what she did?

Thanks for the subtitles and the enhanced clariety. I don't know how anyone could listen to this without sobbing. Tears are running down my cheeks. But I wasn't there. He wasn't there. The police weren't there. Summer wasn't there. Does she ever say SHE wasn't there?

This is the most important and compelling recording I have ever heard in my life. I ended up crying for Colby. I have been in a similar position with my parents and it is soul crushing. God bless you Colby. It takes so much courage to confront a parent that u thought loved you and through their actions u know they never have.

Thank you for releasing this with the closed caption subtitles, because i was stuggling the hear the convo, as they spoke over each other a lot. This audio was heart breaking to hear. Lori is a vile human being. She deserves the harshest punishment available, and I hope she never sees the outside of a prison cell for as long as she lives.

This still rocks me to hear his pained outpouring...but this is the first time I caught his "Peter Griffin" reference for Chad. He NAILED it!

Heartbreaking, I’m so sorry for what has happened to Colby Ryan, and that the woman who gave birth to him has caused this. Along with Chad Dumbell, and her sick, sick, brother. He sound like he’s living in a nightmare and can’t wake up. Lori, Chad and Alex are and where sick, and they don’t even realize it. Just listening to Lori makes my head spin. I just can’t imagine how Colby felt talking to her.

I can't believe she told him "I can tell you that" when confronted on it (saying she is still 'justified by God') OMG. Poor Colby and the innocent lives that have suffered at the hands of these two narcissistic psychopaths.

This poor man is beside himself with grief for his siblings, he now has the terrible job of carrying around this awful nightmare for the rest of his life, while his mother is denying any wrong doing, and just keeps repeating “ You weren’t there” I can’t think of any reason why she and her husband would have chosen to do what they did to those two poor soles instead of offering them up to someone with a kind heart who was willing to take them in and love them, like Colby or even their loving and supportive grandparents. Such a heart wrenching story for the family left to deal with 😢

Different people have said that they would have taken in the 2 kids; but, the reason that would have never happened is because those kids had money coming in, and Lori needed it; so she told Tylee, that she needed her to put her [ Tylee's ] money directly into her [ Lori's ] account; she did that in anticipation of Tylee 'no longer being around' so to me that is 'premeditation', Lori already had JJ's money coming directly to her; so NOTHING could have saved those kids!

Seems like she’s confessing that she knows what happened and she and the children know what happened and they love her and understand. She’s not saying only Chad and Alex know and she didn’t know where they had taken the children. Oops Lori. She also made the prosecution’s theory of her needing the children out of the way , stand up ( in my opinion) when she complained about the 100 days of sitting in the hospital with her daughter and taking care of all her sons needs. Her irritation with her responsibilities taking care of her children is crystal clear in her voice. I pray that the jury did actually hear this conversation well enough to help make their decision with clarity!

I have experienced this same exact invalidation of my pain from my own mother for much less dire things and that hurt so badly. I cannot imagine what he is going through. But on a very small level, I can relate.

I truly hope that you can find some way to get this cleaned up/captioned version to the prosecution. The recording was so hard to hear. Perhaps they already have the enhanced audio without the excessively loud background noise, I don't know. But I would hope there's a way to make sure they know exactly what her statements were and work those into the closing argument. Thank you so very much for providing this for us all.
