They weren't that anticipated (except by I-LAND viewers and curious people) but once EN- starts to have a solid fandom in Korea they will slay everything lol. This is just a debut and I can definitely see JRE die/freak out everytime Jay pops up and react similarly to Taehyung or Kai. The fandom aimed a bit high but slowly they will get there.

I kinda feel like Heeseung is going to be the "performance leader", so when it's about the dancing/singing etc. they will go and ask him and then Jungwon is the "actual leader" that is in charge of everything around the performance, like the publicity, the organization and so on, and I love that they kinda split the tasks/responsibilities so no one will be under too much pressure

It kinda sucks that not many people anticipated this debut, except for the _I-Land_ viewers and those who were genuinely curious and just wanted to see another group from Bighit. Either way, this debut is SOLID af. They didn't have that much time to prepare either, they just went into preparation and practice right after they were chosen. 3 months of training at _I-Land_ and 2 months later they already released the album and everything. Issa lot, lol. The mental stress and everything that they went through since they started their journey finally paid off. I am so happy for them.

so enhypen is 3/3 of my ult groups. niki and jake are my biases (but at this point they all are..especially since jungwon and jay. they have been WRECKING). i’m legit so freakin proud of them and it makes me sooooo freakin happy to see they finally debuted!! i’m so excited for this journey with them. it’s also crazy to me that i’m older than the whole maknae line like i- that was a lot to take in from that start. they make me feel so amazing. so much comfort like the type of comfort stray kids brings to me. so i know i’m sticking with these angels for a long long while. grow with them🥲

This was honestly my fav debut of 2020!!!

This is a combination of my thoughts & a person named LR from another comments section...This totally gives off The Promised Neverland vibes (manga/anime). The Promised Neverland is a story that follows a group of orphaned children in their escape plan from an orphanage after they realize a dark secret -they are being cultivated as food. Except here they are cultivated as vampires/kpop idols instead of "food". You could say that the orphanage is the I-Land survival show this group was formed from, where out of 23 contestants only 7 made it. The video shows them being "made" into vampires w/ pills, and getting their fangs/eyes checked, while on I-Land they were "made" into idols. If you've seen both The Promised Neverland & I-Land, this concept is quite brilliant. “The song talks about the metamorphosis they had to go through in order to debut, how their crowns are stained with blood (the contestants who didn't make it), and also questions whether their spot/crown was "given" to them by the show/fans or they "took" it by their hard work.”

But I agree with you on everything like I love their debut because it is so different from other debuts that have happened and it is so crazy to actually see them debute like for the past couple of days after they debuted while I was listening to their album I was still so shocked to know they have actually debuted and I was so happy for them because they all have been working so hard to get where they are. Also my bias is Jungwon

I love them all pretty equally, after everything that we watched them go through in I-land, you just can’t not feel for all of them. But Jake has a special place in my heart, since I’m also Australian. To hear my own accent when he’s speaking English in the album is just really special. I’m so proud of him for chasing his dreams, and wish all the boys great success. We’re hear to cheer them on.
