Definitely sanitize anything you find outside before putting it in the cage, best to stick to approved plants/grasses/veggies in their habitat. Wicker baskets are also usually treated in varnish so use caution.

You seriously have a talent for being a pet home decorator... all the piggies habitat idea was fantastic!

Hi Erin :) be careful with the wicker baskets. A lot of the stuff sold is treated with varnishes and preservatives which animals will ingest if they are chewed, particularly rabbits who nibble and destroy everything. This is VERY toxic to them. Make sure it's specifically made from pet-safe wicker or is 100% untreated and natural.

My guinea pigs don’t have a theme. I go to the store, see something I think the guinea pigs need, I buy it, and I put it in their cage then i take out an old toy and put it in their toy bin 😂♥️

I’m getting guinea pigs for my birthday and genuinely I’m so excited, I’ve loved animals my whole life (in my spare time I litterally just research on how to look after animals lol it’s a bit sad) but it’s only a year and a half ago my mum let me get my gerbils, now I’m getting piggies n I’m beyond happy, their gonna be spoilt 😩

When you find wood to use for your guinea pigs, do you do anything to it before giving it to them? Like cleaning and/or sanitizing?

I would LOVE a video on enrichment for hamsters! I have two roborovski hamsters and am always lookinv to enrich their home. I scatter feed their food for the most part to enrich that way, I have tunnels and such but woke love more ideas.

Hi your so knowledgeable I was wondering if you could help me. My piggie has a suspected URI and was given Baytril for a week, his breathing got a little slower but then symtoms soon returned. The vet has now given sulfatrim, he's been on this nearly a week and breathing just as fast, nose still snotty looking no change. I called she said leave it the week as some antibiotics take longer . He eats very well but I'm struggling at what to do. Have you experienced anything similar? What length of time can it take to improve? Your videos are amazing 😉
