The problem with any battle involving an ISD is that - in a head-on confrontation - the opposing vessel's AI always seem to target the very tip of the ISD's bow, when the bridge is the more obvious tactical target.

Man that's such a good looking Star Destroyer model. The creator really did a good job. From a distance it looks good enough to be in the movie.

And that's about right. If this were real the Enterprise-D (and that's the one I'd personally go with) would actually target the Star Destroyer's shield generators and take them out in seconds and then it would basically be over.

Somehow that was one of the most elegant scenes of destruction I have seen in Space Engineers to date. That Swiss-cheeseified saucer section... It also clearly demonstrates how Star Trek ships are one massive structural weakness after another (even though not many sci-fi ships do much better in this regard, see Star Destroyers and their vulnerable bridge).

Do one with a later model of the enterprise I love the fact you can separate the saucer, it’s one of my favourite feature of the later models just cause it looks so cool when it separates

As A Star Wars fan I will always say that the SD would win in a fight, but to be fair they are two very different ships that have completely different purposes, and each is better than the other at what it is made for.

Had the Enterprise used its photons torpedoes full potential (not stop firing for the benefit of getting a nice spectator view) it would have won

Star Destroyer won this one.... although if the Enterprise had used all the weapons available both in film and Space Engineers the Star Destroyer would get destroyed. As we saw in round 3... I think that not using all the weapons available made the fight unfair because the Enterprise is a much more sleek ship and as such is thinner and not as dense, once the shield's go down she's like paper. By design this fight was unfair in my opinion... but oh well great video, Enterprise won this one for me personally but technically Star Destroyer won if we count the weapon limitation on the Enterprise.

next time you build a warship, try mounting weapons on guntowers (think of the tower on the back of the droid cruiser, but with each side[left and right, not fore and aft] having turrets mounted along it's length) not only would this increase the number of weapons able to fire on a target, as well as greatly increasing the firing arc, ex. allowing top mounted weapons to fire below the ship (depending on it's length) but you could use the added space to mount extra thrusters, reactors, etc, increasing power, speed, and maneuverability, without having to increase the size of the whole ship. this should work on any ship (if you don't care about looks, or want to experiment) but would work best on a x- or star- shaped ship (viewed from the front). for another visual, imagine a x-wing with turrets on the top and bottom of each wing. p.s. please do a fighter battle with the starfury from Babylon 5. not only do they look awesome, but they are actually one of the most realistic space fighters in sci fi. Spacedock did a video on them if you want to know more.

I wish there was a mod like the weapon on the molevolence (from star wars the clone wars) where it disables all power and short sircuts the weapons ,gyros,and thrusters for a certain duration and the longer the duration the more charge it needs

Either do full impulse where you can go from earth to moon in 5 seconds in real life, you need to place the ship a lot closer together, or both if you want a collision course to be successful.

In Star Wars canon, the Star Destroyer is also equipped with heavy artillery, including long-range cannons and air-strike capabilities! If the Space Engineers Star Destroyer were to be equipped with such weaponry, then it would be totally in the Destroyer's favor! As it is, this ended with a tie, and would've ended with an Enterprise victory had Jack not been shy of abusing the use of the torpedos!
