I have a feeling when the sibling do reunite, and share stories, Collin will learn how blessed he is to have been raised by his father.

The funny thing is this, Collin out of all his siblings can articulate and carry a interview like a grown man with such grace and integrity. His mother should be ashamed of herself. The world loves you Collin. We all have your back.

For a high school age child he is SO well spoken. His mother definitely can’t take any credit for that! She is nothing other than a monster.

That’s so heartbreaking that he hasn’t seen his siblings in 5-6 yrs. Shame on his mom for doing this to him.

When she opened that gift and he was like “it’s me and you” and she responded with “where’s everybody else?”. That says it’s all what kind of mother she was to him and how she’s feels about him compared to his other siblings. He’s better off without her.

The fact that he had such a horrific car wreck and his siblings, nor his mom contacted him, is absolutely disgusting. They are unkind mean horrible people Kate has ruined them.

That poor kid. It's bad enough his mother abandons him, but to make sure his siblings stay away as well? That's beyond cruel. My heart just broke for him.

Kate's comment on the momma and baby bear gift.....broke my heart! His little voice explaining the meaning, so sweet and genuine. The gift was to symbolize them as mother and son and she could care less. So sad!

Out of all those children, he is THE MOST capable, of anything and everything. I don't see a victim. I see a survivor of abuse and cruelty by his mother, and a survivor of his own demons that he seems to be conquering extremely well for a kid his age. He's very well spoken and true to himself and his emotions. Very excellent work done by Jon and Hannah. Their love and support shows, and this young man is going to shine.

You can tell how left out and neglected he felt. Then to watch the clip of his mom saying "where is every one else?" And shutting him down just broke my heart.

His mother is a narcissist and Colin was a scapegoat not unusual for a narcissist to do. I wish him nothing but the best and my heart hurts for all the pain and rejection he has endured. Peace to the World.

The fact that he said the biggest misconception about him is hes “incapable” the fact that he was made to feel that he’s incapable (most likely by his mother) is heartbreaking. His tears for his siblings is heartbreaking

No one is talking about the scene in Mexico where Colin is buying Kate a bday gift and he was so excited to give her the mama and baby bear figurine and all she says is "where's everyone else" that was the most heartbreaking scene out of all of the seasons by far, I was sick to my stomach watching that. Good for you for breaking free Colin, you will do amazing things , and we believe in you❤️

I know Collin said it didn't matter that Kate didn't show up to the custody hearing, but I'm sure that cut deep. What a way to tell your own kid that you don't want them. Heartbreaking.

I think Colin had a strong sense of person at a very young age and she saw him as a problem child. She knew she met her match and didn’t like it. The narcissist couldn’t take it. I’ll never understand how any woman, any mother could let her own children have a separation like this. So hurtful. I hope that Colin always keeps his head up high and that finds peace in his life. As for Mommy Dearest, I pray for her.

My mother wrongfully drugged me up and institutionalized me throughout my childhood. Unfortunately, I wasn’t lucky enough to have a dad to get me out, seeing as he passed away when I was little. He’s very lucky to have gotten out. I feel his pain, and I know first hand how terrifying, inhumane, and abusive those places are. My heart goes out to him. 💔🙏🏼

It really stood out the moment he wanted validation of her love for him, when he gave her a gift of the mama Bear and cubby, he kindly says "it is supposed to be you and me" and without batting an eye she says "where is everybody else?" the appropriate response would be " Oh, you are soo sweet, thank you for this beautiful gift, I Love You!". Children that grew in large families experience neglect and loneliness, even in the middle of a large family with lots of siblings, a balance act is require from mom and dad to make each child feel loved and special. Not easy indeed...

He’s clearly very intelligent, and has a great work ethic. The maturity involved to not use the interview to harbor/highlight anger the wrongdoings of his mom, but instead to talk about his future plans is astounding for someone his age. Heck...for anyone who’s gone through abandonment by a parent. Mad respect for him!

The fact that Collin and Hannah both have stated publicly that they wish to have a relationship with their other 6 siblings, yet the other siblings want nothing to do with them, tells me that it's entirely because of Kate's manipulation. And that's just heartbreaking. Hopefully they think for themselves some day, and change their minds.

My heart hurts.. but through all of this, I'm so grateful that Collin and Hannah had each other and that Jon provided a stable home for them. Collin, if you are reading this - just know despite how you’ve been treated and the experiences you had to experience, just know - continuing to have a positive mindset can get you far in life. No matter how your mom treated you - good or bad, and same with your dad, you have nothing but nice things to say and that says a lot about your personality. No ill intentions or mean thoughts, shows how strong you are. Also the fact that out of everything you discussed, you got emotional talking about how much you love your siblings is amazing. Yes your parents are your parents and will be there forever, but you can’t forget the bond between your own siblings is just as strong. Keep working hard, don’t push yourself too much, know your boundaries & remind yourself to slow down if you’re balancing too much. Always take care of yourself, but always strive to be the best you can 💓

As an abused individual, I notice that there are hugely two types of people who come out of abuse. You either become an empath or you become the narcissist that inflicted the pain unto you. He has become the empath. Hope he has a big support group because as the empath you make yourself to be happy and ok to others when in reality when by yourself you have demons that try to bring you down. To this day I still struggle with my demons. While I am known as the happy positive person I am a sad person secretly..

As someone who has experienced narcissistic abuse from my grandmother and had no one believe my family, it’s hard to speak out. Thank you to Jon, Hannah, and Collin for reinforcing that it can be female family members too.

Wow. Collin really comes across as a very intelligent, emotionally healthy, well grounded young man. He speaks more maturely than many adults I know and doesn't seem to hold any anger about his situation. Of course we don't know all that happened, but it's heartbreaking to think of the children being splintered.

I can watch this over and over again and cry...when he said one day when he has kids of his own he would want them to know their aunts and uncles, was adorable. I really hope they re-connect. None of this is any of their fault. They are still young, they can mend things. Collin is right, put the parents aside!!! The way she reacted to his gift said it all. Such a thoughtful gift from a young boy that was just about his and his mom's relationship (or more likely, an image of what he wished it could be, where she could make time for just him.) But her brand was the fact she had eight kids, so the gift was meaningless to her as it didn't promote her brand. The narcissism jumps out from the screen. Poor kid.

Kate has always reminded me of my mom - me and my 5 siblings used to watch this show and we would make comments about Kate and my mom would be completely on her side about everything. My mom is also terrible towards my dad but they’re still together. Me and my siblings have always said behind their backs how we don’t understand why our dad is still with her because we continuously watch her verbally abuse him (and sometimes physically during arguments by throwing things at him). She used to be like that to us too when we were kids but now that we’re adults she’s gotten better which I think is because she knows we could choose to cut ties with her if we wanted. When we lived with her, we had no choice but to put up with her.

"Where is everyone else" says a LOT about his mom's inability to connect one on one. As a mom, what an outstanding young man! Keep working on your best you!
