This has got to stop. It is clear to me that a couple dozen good auditors in a nation of over 300 million is not enough to affect change. Every citizen that cares about our constituional rights needs to pull out their cell phone and record in public places (hell, you could just hold up your phone and pretend to be recording). Police encounters and litigation is not the answer because rarely are these violators held accountable. If the people exercise their rights in mass, there's absolutely no way public servants would be able to continue this tyranny.

@@rootchiller Of course, they "should train their staff properly," but they won't because management knows transparency and accountability is not in their best interest. Video footage from citizens exposes impropriety. How many people watch 1A audits to see how great our public servants are? There was a time when no government buildings had any surveillance cameras anywhere. Do you think when they first started installing cameras to monitor their employees, everyone said, "Great, my every move will be watched by Big Brother?" So, no employee is ever going to like being watched, but now it is accepted. Eventually this will be the same case for being filmed in public. The sooner we all exercise our rights, the sooner it will be commonplace.

That works in your favor. It's part of the equation. Your well versed delivery , toned communication skills and word economy makes it easier for the police and anyone, really, to quickly asertain and understand the situation. As a viewer and former auditor myself, it is appreciated and admired. Auditors who stumble and come off a little antagonistic can unnecessarily alienate the police which could interfere with the audit's purpose. Studder and brainscattered speaking (as some do) can detract from police's otherwise energetic support for said auditors's argumentations when it comes to 1st amanedment rights...Your demeanor makes it effortless for them to start off smooth and fluid. thanks, much appreciated.

He was in fear of losing his job and wanted to plead with him to not publish the video and not call his supervisor to FOIA his phone because he may have things in there he doesn’t want out. He didn’t want to look soft begging on camera

Cop is wrong, Disorderly conduct is not subjective and is not based on feelings. They’re the law police not the feelings police. Tell them you heard that postal office employees were rude to the public and you’re there to dispel that rumor by documenting how postal workers treat the public 😂

*"THIS* guy..." There's always one of 'em, ain't it? 😅 If there were more people around, he would have been a "fire-starter," as they're called in the 1A auditor community. Love your work, TTA. You're one of my favorites.
@P2Reflectschannel-hh2zl2 ай бұрын
I think that one guy was impressed by the end. He watched you get confronted by a multitude of police officers and 1) get to do what you were seeking and 2) keep the officers very much at bay. Even if someone annoyed me at first, after witnessing that I might feel I should learn a thing or two from him.

Thank you for doing this. The public needs to understand their rights so that we can we retain them! People are forgetting these things and risking everything we enjoy in this country.
