I was just in that building last summer in the room where you can get a copy of birth certificate. I noticed they had a sign that said photography is prohibited. I showed that to my wife and told her that it’s unconstitutional and if I really wanted to I could take pictures and video. After watching so many audits I am still shocked that people believe they have the rights not to be recorded in public. Thanks for going to this location really needed to be educated.

Next time have the courage to exercise our constitutional rights. Especially our First Amendment. Either exercise our constitutional rights or LOSE them. Or have taken away from you. It's the same thing of me in Texas inside of a food stamp office. They got all those C.F.R.'s and U.S. Codes. Also has a paper sign that says no recording by audio, video, and what else. It's unlawful, unconstitutional, and undemocratic. If they do call the police and I'm unlawfully get asked to leave,and/or ask for I.D. because to the cops.... ........ If they get paranoid and become adamant about me I.D. ing myself, that's not a crime, then I can simply file a complaint to the supervisor. If I get unlawfully criminal trespassed, it's a violation of our First Amendment rights. Plain and simple. The food stamp employees and employers are public servants. They work for us. WE don't work for THEM. It's not their building ; it's ours. The taxpayers pay for it.

This is just a consequence of imperfect knowledge in the marketplace. Why do you think they emphatically believed that they could not be recorded without their permission? Did they just make it up? I worked at a job for 23 years and was still learning things until the day I left. The worst people I worked with were the ones that thought they knew everything after a few years of working. Those are the kind of people who think they know all the answers and are always correct. As someone who works in the public, they should have known that things change with the laws all the time since new laws are written and judge's rulings come down form the courts that makes things different every time. The main issue here is that these people have bullied the people for so long they think they are the arbiters of the rules that they are supposed to follow.

The Attorney was so ignorant of the law, it scared me! He takes the FOIA saying he can’t promise it will get to where it needs to be?? WHAT? Are you kidding? The woman acted like she was under the influence? Liquid lunch. She was dressed inappropriately with breasts and bra exposed. I would be so embarrassed if she was my boss. Her role model behavior was a temper tantrum level with demanding camera off or no information. She should be disciplined for behavior and told to grow up. I feel so concerned for the employees who are supervised by them. They were not given the training they deserve! Most employees want to do a good job but are held back by poor training, unstable leadership and poor or no support to excel in their job. These employees should have better leadership! They deserve it!!❤

How in the world can people who have chosen a career that revolves around holding people accountable to the law, not know or have any awareness of the law that they are supposed to be accountable to? Also, after ten or more years of "auditing" these types of gov't agencies and costing them $$$$$ for not honoring people's rights, the attorneys don't even know how to act!! Amazing

Nina was great! No waves, no friction, service minded. I was greatly impressed after the States Attorney yahoos got lippy and loud. I will be giving them a call and looking to email them a copy of this video so they can get a grasp of thier behavior and the disdain they showed to a member of the public.

Here is a classic example of the dumbing down of America !! ! The government is so willing to pass MILLIONS of laws and rules and ordinances but they REFUSE to educate their people on these LAWS !!! A suggestion is the auditor should carry a folder of the laws and such of what he is doing so when he runs into a situation as this he can educate them and show them HE knows the laws and has something to prove or back up his position. ie Rogue Nation.

This just proves what I have been saying for years, everyone from garland to the last incompetent cop hired needs to be held accountable for their actions! It's not just the cops, it's judges, prosecutors, parole officers, probation officers and anyone else in the injustice system!

The biggest problems with auditing is the states attorney not knowing their position or the law. All auditing should start at the states attorney offices.

Thank Nena for having much knowledge and we the people love her and appreciate her very very much. Thank you James for your hard work and knowledge as we do indeed need people like you.

What an eye opening revelation of incompetence at such a high level. These people have the power to affect lives and they don’t even know the law! Complete disdain for the public who pays their salaries. Jim turns his back and walks away while a member of the public addresses him. Embarrassing!!

Unbelievable that these attorneys are so ignorant of the law & think they can refuse service to whom they “serve”. Kudos to Nina for her professionalism. Have you been to Dolton? I’m sure you’re aware of the problems regarding the mayor.

That's a typical tactic they use to cause an alarm and disturbance: talking loud, making a scene and shouting directives. That State Attorney lady was trying to stir up a hornet's nest. What a bunch of dummys in that office.
